  1. Dude what are you talking about? Bentleys and Rolls are for anyone who can afford to drive one. Bibby has made well over $100 million in his NBA career. I'm pretty sure he can afford a $250,000 car. And what would make you say owners of these companies despise overpaid athletes? Seriously, after reading this and other posts you've written, you seem to talk out of your a$$ a lot. Quite hating dude!

    Horf

does anyone know what time Horf will be on TNT tonight?
  3. LOL at Smoove pushing the camera man and telling him to get the camera out his face.
  4. I wouldn't judge him as a player based on tonight's game. The kid's been playing great up until tonight averaging something like 14 point per game. Even the espn announcers were talking about how unfortunate it was for him to play the way he was playing after having such a great start to the preseason. They praised his game numerous times.
  5. What a disappointed.. this is a horrible way to head into the season.
  6. I have two tickets for tomorrows games against new orleans in section 121 that i'll let go for $10/ticket. Let me know if anyone is interested .i can meet you at the arena or email you the tickets. email me at cesg0417@hotmail.com
  7. I'm not hating on JJ. The NBA is a business and all he is doing is weighing his options. It's actually smart on his part to wait until next summer to see what kind of options come his way. In the end, I seriously doubt he would leave Atlanta for 1 or 2 million more per year to go to a lesser team on development. But he can sure use an offer from such a team to negotiate a longer, higher contract with the Hawks. It would have definitely been nice for us fans to have the piece of mind of knowing JJ was locked in for 4 future seasons, but this situation may not be so bad after all. I kind of like the idea of Joe having to prove himself this upcoming season... It'll keep him on his toes and the team might just get more out of him.
  8. Bowen would be a great addition. His experience could be very valuable. However, I've kind of always disliked him because he is such a dirty player.
  9. Do you seriously think they are using company money or even their own money. Have you ever heard of liability insurance?
  10. I would love to see what his schedule looked like his senior year. I'm sure he wasn't taking calculus or any AP classes like his fellow students who were actually thinking about college. Plus, i went to a big football HS where quite a few players have gone on to play college football, and i can tell you that teachers were way lenient with them.. BTW i'm not less of a fan cause i'm realistic about Josh's intelligence. Hell. If he was a little smarter may be he would make better decisions on the court!!!
  11. you're right, not being a great public speaker does not make you dumb... not being able to put a sentence together does. And how are you comparing josh's speaking abilities with that of our general manager? Sund is not the best interviewer but he gets his point across in a semi-intelligent manner. You said it yourself, he seems pretty bright to you even after you see he is not the best public speaker... the same can not be said for Josh.
  12. Wow... i'm a big josh fan but I've got to say that he is not the brightest apple on the tree. I mean damn, he's 24 and can't express a coherent thought.
  13. Not adding this kid to the roster will only lead to another regret
  14. ad nauseum? LOL. I can think of a bunch of different ways you could have conveyed that thought with out sounding so pretentious. i love it when moderators of blogs get on a power trip.
  15. It will be close between Joe and Carter. Its really going to depend on how well carter fits in with Orlando
  16. Roy's new contract will make no difference on what joe will get. Joe has a lot of leverage as he is going to be in demand next summer. Specially if Lebron and Wade decide to stay in their respective teams.
  17. I would love to see both but would be more than content if we sign joe smith
  18. ok?! it would be nice if you backed up your claims. What if we have a good season and Sunds decides to go into luxury tax? there are plenty of team spending way over the salary cap in order to keep more than one all-star... why not us?
  19. NICE!!!! how sweet would it be if we keep Joe and sign someone like Bosh next summer? I wonder if that would be possible without getting rid of smith, marvin, or hordford?
  20. whether we get another allstar next year is going to depend on how well the hawks play this season. If they preform well i can see sund going into luxury tax to put together a championship team.
  21. Yo, I'm with you!!! i can't wait to see how much the young guys improve, and how Crawford is going to fit. I question whether or not he is going to be a better fit than flip?!
  22. that would never happen... i would much rather keep flip
