  1. According to Jurenovich, trade is not official. Cleveland has to find a third team for Dunleavy, otherwise Korver stays.
  2. It's been a good off season. Certainly exciting! Could have been great. God I hate Alice!!!
  3. You have an excellent point. I thought the new CBA was set up in a way to keep teams from doing what the heat did a few years ago and what the Warriors are doing now.
  4. Sucks for the Thunder but I'm so glad he stayed out west and he didn't join Alice in Boston!!!!!
  5. I wonder how the team (Kyle, Kent, Shreouder, Paul and the rest) feels about Alice leaving the way he did. Do you think they understand and respect his decision or are they pissed?

    Crawford

Jamal would be great but I bet he ends up with the Celtics.
  7. To me what he did here in the past 9 years means nothing. The Hawks org did what they had to do to make the team better and he turned he's back on them and the fans when it counted most. We really had a chance to do something special next season. Now we'll just have to wait and hope Shreouder continues to develop and prince turns out to be a stud. Otherwise not looking good for us next season. Hordford really left the Hawks in a tough spot as we don't have the cap room to bring in another meaningful player.
  8. Any team other than Boston is a nay. Guess Boston it is so hell YAY!!!!!
  9. How does he not deserve to be booed? He took the same money Hawks offered minus one year to go to, of all teams, the Boston effn Celtics. Can't believe it. Hope Durant does not go to Boston as well. We should be a better team if he doesn't.
  10. Lost my grandma Monday. I can attest to the fact that loosing a family member really puts thing in perspective. Can't imagine how hard it would be to loose a parent though. Sorry for your loss.
  11. If he leaves it is not for the money. Celts and Wiz are offering 113M/4 years. Hawks have been reported to have offered 130M/5 years. Much more value on the offer the Hawks are extending. If he leaves it would be for another reason. To team up with Durant? He's dislike for Howard? Out of pure ego for not being offered a max deal by the Hawks? We shall find out soon how all this unfolds!
  12. Only way I see us loosing Al is if Durant leaves OKC to Boston. Frankly, I wouldn't blame Al for teaming up with Durant. Otherwise, no need for Al to leave money on the table. There's a lot more value on 130M/5 years than 113M/4.
  13. Look for demare, as well as all of our starters, to play big minutes in the playoff no matter who we face. I wouldn't be surprised to see demare match lebrons minutes WHEN we play the cavs. With that said, it's also going to take a team effort defensively for the hawks to hold their own against the cavs, Toronto, or the bulls with sepholosha out. Can't wait for the playoffs!!!!!!
  14. I say bring on the nets or celtics. I'm more afraid to face Indiana. Something about the pacers who have had playoff success in their recent past with a semi-healthy Paul George that really scares me in the first round. Anyone else with me on this? Of course, part of me is torn and I kind of would rather take on the pacers if it means the nets do not make the playoffs. How sweet would it be to get a lottery pick with the best team in the east? Btw, has that ever happened before? Might be a dumb question to some of you but I really don't know.
  15. This is not the first time I hear josh smith is a jerk. I had a client a few years back that was the team doctor for both the hawks and thrashers. He would enjoy dealing with the thrashers players so much more because he said the hawks were extremely difficult to deal with. He specifically mentioned josh and joe
  16. I haven't seen the warrior's play that much this season. I didn't realize how deep they are. any player in their top 10 rotation can be a starter on any other nba team. Impressive!!!!
  17. I agree, if Dwight really has no desire to come to Atlanta I say trade him ASAP
  18. I agree with most here. With the heat in our division, it will be really hard to win more games than them in the regular season. They're just too good and if they keep the big three together for a long time it's going to be really hard to get the right pieces here to compete.
  19. I'm a big josh smith fan but I wouldn't be too mad if he was traded for the right pieces. I was a junior at mceachern when he was a freshman there and remember watching him play at the gym during our lunch break. When he made it to the pros was when I actually became a hawks fan and have been one since. When he first moved back to Atlanta after playin hsi remaining high school career in Virginia, I actually went to a couple of house parties he threw at a house he had in mabelton. Now that I've been following the team for a while and consider myself a true die hard fan, I think a josh trade might be good for this team. His decisions on the court are beyond frustrating. If as a fan I get this frustrated I can only imagine how his team mates feel when he takes those 20 fr jumpers time and time again. Though I dont consider Pau to be a better player than Smith, I think hes experience and basketball iq would be a much better fit for the hawks. Though I hate to admit it cause josh is the main reason why I'm a hawks fan today, trading him might be the best thing that can happend to this team. Ps. Please excuse the grammatical errors. I wrote this on my iPhone.
  20. Sekou just said on nba tv that he heard of a possible trade of josh for gasol. The trade might include hinrich and maybe some other pieces... Thought?
  21. game is on nba league pass for free
  22. Does anyone know how I can cancel my contract with dish network? Just got it installed two weeks ago and now they want $420 to cancel my contract. This sucks!!! The only reason I got cable was because basketball season is starting in a few weeks.
  23. Just read the article on ajc... no injuries reported
  24. Oh i see, well i take it all back then. Apparently, you are either Bibby's accountant, or are close friends with someone who has access to his books. You seem to have a pretty good idea of how much money Bibby has in the bank. Listen, I realize that some athletes make poor financial decision. However, I find it laughable that someone would have the audacity to give financial advice to any athlete without knowing their financial stands. You seem to be sure that Bibby's net worth does not come close to $100 million. And you might be right; I certainly do not know. But I know that he has grossed over the said amount over his 10 or 11 year career in the NBA. And that my friend, is a ton of money. With the right financial adviser putting your money in the right places that kind of money can be stretched a long way. You and the other hater are stereotyping. Just because Bibby's earned his money as an athlete, you're assuming his living above his means just because someone saw him driving around town in a nice expensive car. So I'll say it again... quit hating and mind your own business. BTW, you say investing in homes is one of the worst investments any person can make. You are obviously throwing things out there for arguments sake. Some of the richest people in the world invest in real estate buddy.
