  1. I'll give him a year under Snyder and his finger being fixed before I'd trade him, we have more issues and more players to sign before JC is an issue
  2. I said it many times during the year but we are the most 41-41 team ever in the NBA, we are so mid 41-41- had to be our final record this year. Really weird as I think with our roster and with Snyder we should be a 50 win team easily but something is really off with this team and I'm not really sure what it is.
  3. Id be open to moving Hunter if that meant keeping Bey and Murray. Hunter seem eternal mid and eternally nicked up. One of our young core guys I did not want to sign long-term.
  4. I really think both will be keys to our long term success especially now with Snyder running things. Given the contracts they might command can we keep rhem long-term? Also Id still like to keep JC. The only core starter I would not care trading is Hunter. So does anyone think its realistic to most keep our top 10 intact?
  5. Doubt it, think fate will have us at 41 and 41 this year.
  6. pretty funny, it's obvious we will either finish the season 41-41 or 40-42 We are such a weird team
  7. Bummer, maybe AJ will get some time?
  8. Hes even worse on defense and never gets to the free throw line
  9. Thats horrible, would be silly to gut our young roster like that.
  10. I like this roster, this new front office and our new coach. I just hope it all works, would suck even though on paper we should be a top 5 team but for some reason never get there. Im glad Bogi is locked up but I hope his knees hold out andvwe do need another long shooter on the roster. So I guess keeping him long term is better then another Hueter situation. Huerter though was pretty bad in defense and never went to tje free throw line so he had some major faults fir this team.
  11. I just hope we play competitive and do not embarrass ourselves.
  12. Im at the game tonight. Murray is on a tear. Hope we dont blow the lead in the 4th.
  13. 1985, family is going to our first hawks game tonight, should be fun
  14. I'd rather have owners like Tony and Jami that seem to give a damn then a nameless corporate face like ASG. Not many people in the world know how to run an NBA team so I got no problems with them learning as long as they care about the results and it really seems they do. Why would we want an owner that just owns the team for a tax break?
  15. Man this is shaping up to be one of my favorite Hawks teams. Been a fan since the Nique days in the mid 80s and this new Front office, New head coach combined with our young but talented team and it is really really exciting. Not often a coach in his prime comes in to a young team like this. We shown we can get to the ECF finals with a lesser coach so very excited to see what Quinn can do.
  16. While that 60 win team was great and it was a fun ride we peaked WAY to soon on the season, we were pretty much limping into post season, and the police issues with Thabo hurt a lot as well. You could see it in the last month of the season.
  17. I'm honestly not to worried about the rest of this year, we could go in either direction for the last 20 games, I am pretty excited about the future of the team though. This new Front office is really stepping up and doing some interesting things, also the trade deadline moves and getting Quinn was pretty smart. I'm at the point where I will give Landry and Korver some serious leeway and trust their judgment. I like the interviews they are giving and the moves they are making.
  18. Good guy, no hard feelings. Thanks for the ECF run and the Trae coming out party. That was a fun run.
  19. Prunty did good, yesterdays game is a game we lose under Nate, Nate was an expert in going up[ by double digits and then blowing the lead in the second half. I'm glad a reasonable coach worked around that habit of our team.
  20. Yea the Front office turmoil was odd but they did step in front of it quick and laid out what was going on. so they handled that well and honestly since the change over they have been making some REALLY good decisions, our trade deadline moves were great, firing Nate and getting Quin is a major coup for the team. I'm so far really liking the new front office and am very hopeful for the future.
  21. With JC AND Hunter always injured Bey will probably end up starting alot of games anyway filling in for one of them at any point in time.
  22. I'd see how he does the rest of the year. We do need a legit backup for Hunter and Collins since both seem to be injury prone and a bench 3pt shooter is useful since we shipped Hueter out
  23. Yea the new front office has been making some smart well thought out moves since the reshuffle. I like the way they are doing things.
