  1. I love the guy, but it just amazes that after all these years, he still plays with a low b-ball IQ
  2. And some people actually think we are contenders. SMH at this team
  3. Pargo actually has us back in the game. Maybe there is still hope.
  4. And the team is already down by 14 Another blowout on national tv
  5. We are never gonna get better until we get a good coach and a GM that's knows what the hell this teams needs(unfortunately those 2 things aren't going to happen until we get a new owner, lord knows how long that is gonna take). And with Joe's contract, and at the rate he is declining(for whatever reasons) we are gonaa be back in rebuilding phase in a couple of years.
  6. The ship is slowly sinking further and further
  7. Admire your optimism, but we are nowhere close to contending. We still can't even seem to find a decent center after all these years. Even if we did find a J. Lin type of player, our team still doesn't have as many good pieces as a team like NY to make it work. Even when Joe used to avg. over 20 a game, we still only got so far. I don't wanna even get started on our bench. And with what we would have to give up to get a 20ppg and 7 assists PG, we definitely wouldn't be a "contender" after that trade. We are a second round playoff team at best.
  8. They actually made a little comeback in the 2nd quarter and had the lead for awhile. But then they started missing layup after layup and started playing sloppy again. Josh played great when he actually went to the post, but he was hoisting jumpers all night. The basketball IQ for this team is frightening low. c/s. This team has no discipline or leadership whatsoever, from the players to the owners.
  9. Dwight wants to go to a contender or a team with an All-Star pg(D-WIll,CP3). ATL as it is now, is not a contender, and we don't have any great PGs. Hawks and Magic are almost the same team. And with what we will have to give away to get him, we still wouldn't be a contender even if we got him.
  10. Best i've seen Joe play in years. That looked like 2005-2008 Joe. Granted it was the Pistons, but their comeback was still great nonetheless.
  11. Thats because most of their schedule has been composed of the likes of the NJ Nets, Washington Wizards, and Charlotte Hornets. They still have a lot of work to do and wins to make before getting respect.
  12. Its nice, but when you look back on their schedule, most of those wins were against the worse of the East. Its nice to know we are actually beating those teams this year, but they still got a lot of work to do.
  13. the team is playing pretty good so far
  14. C/S all of that. I appreciate what Zaza has done over the years, but i still wish we would have gotten rid of him years ago. His contract could go to somebody who plays well on a consistent basis.
  15. Ivan is like a new breath of fresh air to our team. We finally have a tough presence in the paint. And he can put up some points too.
  16. If he keeps playing like he has the the past 5 games, i think he will finally make it this year. He has been beasting lately.
  17. 1 good game versus the Bobcats(compared to a lot of his mediocre games over the last 2 years) for a player getting superstar money isn't something to celebrate imo. He needs to be putting up those numbers every night.
  18. Its true the same thing can be said about all Atlanta teams, but like others have said, the Braves and Falcons have all been to championship games. The Hawks still can't even get out the 2nd round.
  19. Sad to hear. Al has been the most consistent player the last couple of years. We werent going to the Finals anyway, but it would have been nice to see a couple of upsets. Maybe now this a good excuse for the FO to get a real center for once.
  20. We can match up with a lot of teams, but you have to be kidding yourself if you think this is a championship team. We don't have a championship mentality. Hell, we still don't even have a solid center. Miami and CHI would definitely beat us in a 7 game series.
