I didn’t see the game but gonna watch the replay.  From the box score it looks like Porzingis was a problem but the game was ultimately decided by the Hawks bench doubling the Wiz in scoring 35-17 lol.

Usually when Delon posts a better +/- than your starting backcourt combined you’re gonna lose, I can’t underestimate how fortuitous this win was.  I did hear on the radio Trae had 3 boards and 3 steals in the first quarter, that was eye-popping.

    Delon WS/48 is .162.  DJ The Short-Stay Picks Crook at .092.  I can’t man.

Good road win anyway despite being down 15 in the third apparently.  Let’s Go!

Bro your Delon obsession is wild. He's literally bouncing around the league from team to team and you talk about him like he's the second coming of Isiah Thomas.

Towns' performance in his first playoffs really soured me on him.  Fairly or unfairly?  Eh, who knows (cares).

Honestly, I trash him sometimes just to get soth's blood pressure up.  Works every time. 😉

On our games?  Eh, I somehow missed the last 2 ... for some reason.  But if yall see my heat fan BIL, tell him to EABOD and that he better bring plates and cups to the family BBQ on the 4th of July.

    You hear that @benhillboy?

@kg01is sick of your dry a** BBQ chicken... Just cups and plates this time.

  4. And the off-court issues from the gated community wannabe thug continues...

Grizzlies star Ja Morant “will be away from the team for at least the next two games,” the team announced Saturday, after an NBA spokesman said the league was investigating a social media post involving Morant showing what appears to be a gun. Here’s what you need to know:

In an Instagram Live clip, which did not appear on Morant’s account as of Saturday afternoon but was widely circulated on Twitter, Morant is seen flashing what appears to be a gun in a nightclub.

It’s not clear where the video was taken. The Grizzlies lost to the Nuggets in Denver on Friday night and are scheduled to face the Clippers in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 23-year-old Grizzlies star was the subject of a Washington Post report this week detailing a string of off-court incidents dating from last summer, including that the head of security at a Memphis mall filed a police report alleging that Morant “threatened” him during an altercation.

Morant was also the subject of recent controversy as the NBA probed an incident in which Morant’s acquaintances allegedly aggressively confronted members of the Pacers traveling party near the team’s bus in the loading area of FedExForum after a game on Jan. 29 in Mem phis.

Oh and, as an aside, Kam obviously asked Trae for an autograph and didn't get it.  He's on one against Trae.  It's approaching unprofessional at this point.

YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE FOR THE DISRESPECT!! 🤣

    Ouch!!!

This sounds like why he was fired from the pacers. Have you ever heard nate say "this loss is on me... I didn't have these guys prepared" I can't remember him ever saying that.

I disagree.  Bron didn't run things in Miami.   However, I do agree that his efforts has been nothing to talk about.  The problem is Fizdale has been giving crap teams and expected to overcome the shortcomings.   So in that light, I put him and Atkinson in the same boat.   Nobody was jumping up and down about Atkinson's BKN squads either.  But here's what I saw..

Fiz = A hard nose players coach.   He would be a guy that get guys in line (too similar to Nate) but at the same time would be very approachable.

Atkinson=  Nothing.  You talk about Nate being irobot on the court.   Atkinson was irobot with everything else.  He was a guy who just kept a routine.   That's why you didn't see any players fighting for Atkinson.  As much as Nate is unliked, there are still players from his past that will step up and fight for him... and assistant coaches.  Same with Fiz.  When Fiz was fired, there were guys all over the league who were unhappy about it.  But nobody commented on Atkinson.   He didn't make any good or bad connections.

Read the rumors about fizdales firing in Memphis... He lost the locker room and had beef with Marc gasol.

    I'll start.

    Avery Johnson.

    David Fizdale.

And I'm going to say it...

    Becky Hammon.

If there's an owner out there who would be entirely bought-in to offering Becky Hammon her first NBA head coaching gig, it is ours.

I think our #1 target should be Quin, but I definitely wouldn't mind giving Becky a close look.

Fizdale was a bad coach who couldn't get along with his players in Memphis or New York.

By definition, it's not "biased," but this is a situation where some opinions are indeed better informed and come from more authoritative sources.

AI can give conventional wisdom on something like this. It isn't equipped to give well developed insight.

And so much is subjective to begin with, so for me to say "this is wrong," or for that matter, "this is right"... I'm not that authoritative source, either, so it doesn't really matter nor should it matter what I think in the big picture.

Actually, AIs can be biased...It is one of the biggest challenges that general AI developers contend with...ensuring the AI is trained on "Clean, unbiased" datasets.
