  1. I'll have to see how he plays in March Madness. It wouldn't hurt to draft him with one of our second round picks and see how he plays in summer league.
  2. I like Caulie Stein and Goodwin. WCS was a beast against Florida. He was blocking every shot that went up. If he can develop on offense he would be great. Goodwin has a lot of room to develop as well. I just hope our coaching staff would be able to coach them up.
  3. I want at least one player than can step in a play right away. I wish we could trade up into the top 10 and get a guy like Otto Porter or Oladipo. If we keep both our same picks then I would want us to take someone who can score and defend. KCP would be a good pick. He can score and play defense. That what we're missing at the end of a games. Someone who can score and guard another team's scorer. I also McCollum from Lehigh. He is a great scorer. McDermott may be another Korver but he may be even better. He probably can score in different ways rather than shooting. I don't like his defense though.
  4. I don't really like Tony Mitchell. He's been barely getting by in the Sun Belt. I would like to draft a SG like Pope from Georgia instead of Mitchell. I like the Austin pick. Right now he is tall and lanky PF. He'll need to put on more weight to reach his potential. He has a good mid range and would rather he be taking jumpers than Josh.
  5. Burke isn't the best PG in the draft. He's the best pg in college basketball right now. Players with more potential like Marcus Smart, Michael Carter-William, and the guy from Lehigh will probably all be taken in front of Burke. The Hawks will have a chance to get him if they want if. I just hope that the Hawks can get one more draft pick or sign a big man in free agency because I really don't like any in this draft except for Zeller. I've been hearing about Gobert from France but I don't know what to expect from him.
  6. I would like to keep Josh but only if he takes true measures to get his game to his max potential. Josh has gotten better over his career but his game is really been the same since his rookie year. He's been getting by on pure athleticism and a jump shot that isn't one to count on. For Josh to truly be great he needs to hit the weight room. Josh's body hasn't changed much from the time he's left high school. If you take a look at all the the great players in the league except KD, they make bulked up during their career. Lebron was isn't no where near the thin guy he was coming out of high school. After Josh has gained more strength, He should work hard on his post game. Josh should go work out with Hakeem Olajuwon immediately. Josh shouldn't be on the wing as a shooter ever unless he changes his form and consistently make jumpers. If not, he should be in the post exclusively. If Josh develops his post game he could raise his ppg easily. He could possible average 25 and he would in no way miss the all star games with that type of scoring. Josh just needs to get committed.
  7. I'm going with everyone else by saying that If Josh takes us to the ECF then he should get the max. If not then he doesn't deserve that type of deal. I don't think Josh works on his game enough to deserve that. He could be great if he worked. He hasn't truly worked on his jumpshot. His form is horrible. He hasn't put in enough work on free throws. Finally he should go ahead and pay that 50,000 to go work with Hakeem. If Josh truly worked on his post game he would average on 20 ppg easily.
  8. I hope Oladipo stops rising up board so we can get him with one the 1st round picks we already have. If we could get a lottery pick someway then I would rather take a big man though.
  9. If we can get a true wing player then we will be find. We either need a scorer or defender. I like Victor Oladipo. He is athletic and is an amazing defender. Him and Teague would be the most athletic backcourt in the league. I've been watching Trey Burke and I want him a lot. He can score and pass. I just don't know if he would get PT if LD is still the coach.
  10. If the Bobcats would trade their 2nd overall pick then they would be stupid. I would love for Gilchrist to be hawk though.
  11. I'm hoping we could probably get a good wing player. Maybe Otto Porter or Tony Mitchell. Franklin from San Diego State would give us a scorer at SG. We can't survive playing 2 PGs or Korver or Jenkins who can't create off the dribble.
  12. Yeah I really was hoping we drafted Machado. Then he didn't want to sign with us after he went undrafted.
  13. I hate to say it but we're better without Josh. We have all the tools to build a team. If we trade him we need to get a piece for him. I personally wouldn't mind us getting Terrence Jones from Houston. Regardless, It looks like we're gonna have 2 first round draft picks and all the cap space in the world.
  14. Zaza needs to stay a hawks. We need his toughness. It wouldn't look right to see him play anywhere else. I'm sure he won't want much. We still need to draft a 7 footer though but Zaza is a stable of hawks basketball.
  15. Jenkins will get better and better with time. He will be a nice piece for the hawks for a while. Hawks should be able to build a good team with Josh, Al and Jeff. Plus all of our cap space plus 2 1st round draft picks. I confused on will we keep LD as the coach though after this season.
  16. Devin was good in the 1st quarter and hasn't done anything else. Drew need to get Korver open for some 3s. I want to see Morrow and Jenkins.
  17. The are just horrible period in this game. Larry Drew needs to put in Ivan. I want to see Jenkins and Morrow as well. I don't know why he keeps playing Tolliver and he hasn't done shit.
  18. Yeah These guys would be the best options.
  19. He's going to get plenty of PT. Just maybe not this year. I doubt we'll resign Morrow and Stevenson next year. Plus John could possible be start this year. He should only have problems guarding guys like Kobe or D-wade and everybody haves trouble guarding those guy. His defense is good enough not to be a liability.
  20. Really we just needs someone to rebound. The only time not having a true center would hurt us is when we play the Lakers. Other teams have true centers but we can outrun those guys. If Zaza and Horford can defend and rebound we're fine.
  21. He's a undersized PF. We don't need another on of those. He has played pretty good in the Olympics though.
  22. He'd be a good pick up. Just depends on how much money he want though.
  23. Teague should touch the ball every play. Josh can make plays but i'd rather Teague have the ball. Jeff needs to take control of his guy like Rondo. When Jeff can do that he'll be a top PG.
  24. 17 and 9. I expect a monster year from Jeff.
  25. I guess we could give him a shot, but we went and got all of these shooters. We gotta fit 1or 2 in the Starting lineup.
