  1. If anything, this should motivate him to improve even more.
  2. I have a feeling Devin Booker was our #1 target, and as soon as he got taken away, Bud didn't see much a player that could help contribute now.
  3. Now that he knows he's going to play for a contender next year, I wonder if he'll put in extra work to improve other aspects of his game (his defense and rebounding)?
  4. He's young, has never been on a playoff team, and obviously has room for improvement. There's no reason why Bud would trade the 19th pick of he didn't think THJ couldn't improve in our system. During the course of my fandom of Basketball, I've learned that no player is perfect. However, I've also learned that great coaching can improve a players skill set. Give it time folks. Let's see this guy suit up for us before we can judge.
  5. 2011 will forever be the worst draft ever.
  6. I agree. I'm reserving judgement until he's played for us.
  7. We'll like this trade later on.
  8. Portis, RJH, Looney, Anderson. The Hawks would've probably gotten one of them at 15, but they want to pay them a little less.
  9. The Hawks should just remodel Phillips. I'd love for them to add in a bigger scoreboard.
  10. There's a reason why Golden State got rid of him..
  11. Paul's brother does play for them. And Quin Snyder is there. I could see why Paul would be interested in returning.
  12. Has no offensive game whatsoever, and he can hurt your team down the stretch in a close game in the 4th quarter if the opposing team chooses to deploy the Hack-A-Shaq strategy.
  13. I guess their owners don't care about the Tax.
  14. Not sure if we'll be able to afford both LMA and DMC unless the new owners are willing to pay the Luxury Tax.
  15. 1. Marc Gasol 2. LaMarcus Aldridge 3. Paul Millsap 4. Greg Monroe 5. Tyson Chandler 6. Brook Lopez 7. Tristan Thompson 8. DeAndre Jordan
  16. They said in the presser that the ownership group is putting all their trust in Bud and Wilcox pertaining to Basketball Decisions. They aren't going butt in like ASG.
  17. Grant Hill and Tony Ressler are what this franchise needed. Stable ownership group that will do its best to provide ample resources to the team, and will heavily rely on our great management (Bud, Koonin, Wilcox) to their best to make Hawks Basketball attractive in Atlanta once again.
  18. @atlhawks1 The number 1 reason why we shouldn't go after Ellis.
  19. He's not getting more than $8 million.
  20. They're also getting Jeremy Lamb in a seperate deal.
