Not the guy I want being the center piece of this team. In 5 seasons of being in the NBA, he has never led his team to the NBA playoffs, whereas a guy like Anthony Davis helped to lead a less talented Pelicans team to the playoffs in his 3rd season.
Also, would his attitude problems be enough for us to overcome trading for him?
Will he be able to adapt our system which is highly reliant on Ball Movement and Floor Spacing? His 31.8 usage rate (also tied with LeBron James) leads me to believe not. The highest Usage Rate on our team this past season was Dennis Schröder with 26.4. Also be has never had an NBA season in which he made over 50% of his shot attempts.
Essentially speaking, Al Horford is far and away a better player than Boogie Cousins, the main difference between them is that Al doesn't receive nearly as many of the touches that Cousins receives.
