    Trae knows that the team relies on him too much which is why he ready to have a fire sale at the trade deadline just to get a better scorer/playmaker on the team. There is no one you can give the ball to in crunch time other than Trae and opposing teams know this as well.

    Combined 13 pts from Huerter and Hunter… 2 members of our so-called core. I’m kinda done expecting anything from this team. Even if we somehow make it into the playoffs from the play-in tournament we’ll get eliminated in the first round. This season is a wash.

    Kinda sucks reading this but it’s understandable… the team usually seems like a family in front of the camera but we never know what’s goin on behind closed doors. I wish the players had thicker skin but I guess they’re pissed because they all WANT to be in Atlanta and didn’t like finding out that their names were being floated like that. In all honest I knew we were never getting Simmons and didn’t want him. After reading about what Philly did f*ck them and f*ck Morey. They wanted Harden all along and threw other teams, including us, under the bus.

    That comment by Trae made me furious and I could tell the by the complete lack of effort in some games that the players thought they were just gonna waltz back into the playoffs. Success at an early stage in your career can be just as dangerous as failure.

    Lmao… this topic funny as hell. Other than Hunter none of our wings can impact the game if their shots aren’t falling. None of them are consistent on defense because we got a bunch of shooters and one two-way player. Somebody else needs to go… The reason teams can’t miss against us is clear as day… meanwhile we’re constantly getting chased off the 3pt line by any team with a pulse on defense.

    I literally said in the last sentence of the 2nd paragraph that he wasn’t entirely to blame with Covid and injuries affecting our season… you picked out the one part of it that YOU disagreed with.

    Nope let’s talk about it… 1st and 2nd units couldn’t run the offense with Cam hunting for his own shots, Cam pouted when he didn’t get enough playing time (threw a tantrum on the bench once and JC had to calm him down), had an inflated ego and overall just wasn’t a fit on the team. I’m glad he was professional about requesting a trade but he still brought down the overall team chemistry. Even tho we lost the first two games after trading him we immediately looked like the Hawks from last season and now we’re on four game streak. Now I’m not gonna pretend like our record was entirely his fault especially with Covid and injuries but results don’t lie. Lastly the obsession with his potential was the weirdest thing I’ve seen since I’ve been a fan. I got cussed out on another website for being glad he was gone lmao.
