This team looks like shit… there’s no other way to put it. Where do we go from here? This is the only game I’ve missed but the box score tells the story. No contributions from key contributors. Can’t even beat a Murray and MPJ-less Nugget squad smh. Really don’t wanna hit the panic button this early and there’s plenty of time to turn things around but come on…

Our team would implode by allowing this entitled asshole in the locker room. He deserves all the criticism he’s getting… hasn’t improved his game at all since LSU and is literally only being asked to take jump shots. Philly has coddled him his entire career and they finally reached their breaking point when they ran into us. He’s not a victim, he’s a spoiled brat whose fragile ego has been bruised and is pouting because the Sixers (ie. mommy) won’t hold his hand anymore. His behavior is tanking his own trade value which is counterintuitive. I wouldn’t even give Philly cash considerations for this mental midget… dude can’t even just be professional when they’re millions of people who don’t make millions of dollars a year who go to jobs they hate everyday and still at least pretend do their job.

These playoffs have made me hate players that I’ve never paid any attention to. I legit can’t stand Randle or Embiid. You got Randle playing dirty cuz he was getting his ass whooped then every time you turn around this big 280lb player is flopping all over the place and falling on his ass begging for calls. F*** em.

This was a good read but I still hate LP... doesn’t matter how smart you are if you can’t utilize your basketball intelligence to put the players in a position to succeed. Tough love is one thing, not having their back and throwing them under the bus is another. We had way more talent than the last two years and we were still ass. Good riddance...

Haven’t seen enough of him to really judge his play but I can tell you now that he’s better than Adreian Payne...

Doesn’t really matter what standard a coach wants to hold the players to when he alienates them, bad mouths the star’s play style to other coaches, refuses to run any type of real offense, and makes nonsensical adjustments all the while looking clueless and detached on the sidelines... I don’t hate dude but he’s Schlenk’s biggest mistake so far.

Damn, I really ain’t know all that was goin on... seems like he shoulda never been hired in the first place. His style of “coaching” and his philosophy don’t fit the players we have and never did. That comment about not liking Trae’s play style makes sense seeing as how he came from a team where one of the star players refuses to take any jump shots whatsoever...

Haven’t been on this site in a long time and honestly this is the first season I’ve actually had time to watch in awhile. I wanted LP to grow with our young players but when I watched him coach (this season specifically) I didn’t even know what I was looking at... dude was completely inept. What was our identity? What plays did he draw up? How did he play to our players strengths? No clue. Now he wasn’t solely to blame due to a lot of the injuries and some questionable signings but he failed to adjust at all. Every single team in the league has been dealing with injuries and COVID and their coaches made the proper adjustments. Glad he’s gone because the constant crunch time meltdowns were had me foaming at the mouth. Carlisle’s issue with him being fired is irrelevant as hell. Pierce is a great person and has done a lot of amazing work for the community down there but he was bad at his job, which is why he got fired from his job. I don’t give a damn if the timing looked bad, he sucked. If he can’t get on as an assistant somewhere else he should seriously consider getting into politics. He could a lot of great things. Lastly, Schlenk should be on the hot seat next...

I haven't posted on this board in almost 2 years (even though I lurked) but I don't think I've ever been this upset with the Hawks... ever. Is this what being an Atlanta sports fan is really like? This is awful... literally picked the only player I didn't want and got a protected pick in return. Wow.
