  1. I agree on Burke/Jenkins being out-matched. PP can still play some really good D. Horford is one of the better defensive players in the NBA. Not sure what makes you think he is just average at it. Bynum is okay on D. He takes up space and clogs the lane which is good seeing as we got two undersized guards.
  2. He would just be a role player like he was for LAL if we have Burke, Pierce, and Horford. The problem is when you have Bynum, Horf and Teague. That's a 1st round exit waiting to happen.
  3. I like PG but I don't see superstar as a #1 option. I just don't. I see him being a potential superstar all around. Where he can give you solid offense and great defense and great team effort. I love PG. I just don't agree with you at all on Porter, Oladipo or Burke.
  4. I'll rather tank but if we can get someone like Oladipo or Burke who can be a face of a franchise, I don't mind being risky for Bynum. We need size. He has some talent. He will likely never be what he was hyped to be but we just need a solid center anyway. If we can't get Burke or Victor O, we don't have a face right now, getting Bynum will be disastrous for us if contending is ever our goal.
  5. PG: Burke, superstar potential with Horf. SG: Jenkins SF: Paul Pierce PF: Al Horford who will be much better with Burke running elite PnR's offensively. C: Bynum, insure his contract of course. 6th man: Lou Bring Zaza or Petro as a backup for Bynum I would be happy with this squad. I think we could contend in the playoffs with this squad.
  6. If we get Burke and miss out on CP3/D12. Why not if his deal is insured. With Jeff at PG, naw, we still won't win anymore then what we are now. Tank.
  7. I was thinking that as soon as a clicked Post.
  8. If the Hawks wanted get give D12 and CP3 near max money, they could just amnesty Lou.
  9. Round 1: Dieng Plumlee Burke Franklin Round 2 Kabongo Kelly D. Thomas Muscala Tie Breaker - Oladipo
  10. I kind of agree. The gap between 5 and 17 isn't that great in this draft at all but if you got someone in mind like Victor or Trey. I am all for it.
  11. Jordan Crawford said he can be better than MJ. We sometimes can underrate or overrate ourselves. I do not think PG is a lead dog either, I just think he's extremely talented and he a lot of tools to work with. I see the same in Porter. I like Porter's BBIQ.
  12. I like Porter a lot more than others. I watched him at G'Town live. I think his potential is closer to Paul George than Tayshaun Prince.
  13. I agree on Burke. He is a pesky man defender but he tends to be a tad weak. He might have the Teague effect issue on defense. Dipo to me can be a superstar. His tools on offense with his defense and his teamwork. He can be one of the best players in the NBA in three years. I been had him as the #1 player in the draft and didn't think we could get him from when he was listed in our range.
  14. Wasn't Westbrook a #3 option at UCLA. Dipo has an amazing first step. He has range. He has the athletic ability and he can play within a system. He will be a much better scorer in the NBA than in college.
  15. Just do whatever it takes to get one of these guys. This would be as good to me as getting CP3 and D12 since we will finally have a potential superstar with our personnel. 1.Dipo 2. Burke Everyone else don't have superstar potential in any system.
  16. I like Burke. He reminds me of a better passing Terrell Brandon. He needs to get better at attacking the paint but his shooting and his playmaking ability is top notch. You put him in the right system and can could be special. Horford will finally eat.
  17. He could read the pocket man. The f***ing pocket!
  18. It's highly unlikely in this upcoming draft that they will be bust.
  19. Yeah, that's an epic if. If we resign Smoove or if we went to the ECF with Joe. That's not likely. It's just a hypothetical not even based off of our ability, just words.
  20. Burke or Olidapo. I am good with that.
  21. Honestly, if Teague helped us via a SnT and the pick was an important piece and of course Al is important, why not?

Teams that tanked successfully: Early 90’s Orlando, Mid 90’s 76ers, Mid 90’s Milwaukee, Late 90’s Spurs which really isn’t a tank, Late 90’s Mavs, Early 90’s Nets, Early 2000’s Cavs, Early 2000’s Heat, Mid 2000’s Magic, Late 2000’s Thunder. 10 teams tanks successfully, 9 if you do not include San Antonio. Teams like Dallas with terrible management floundering talent but Cuban was able to flip them for quality players. Washington is another team with terrible management. Outside of the years is awful drafts, you didn’t see the same teams in the championship tank lottery often. Dallas, Philly, Washington, GS, and Minny were constants in the 90’s. Minny was a constant in the 90’s and 2000’s. It shows you while bad management can be a bad for a big market team, it’s kill to small market teams. Since the NBA is deeper now, tanks can take longer. I see teams draft quality players like Durant and still suck. That wouldn’t happen in the early 2000’s. Durant would have took any team that took him out of the top 6 in the early and mid 2000’s.
