  1. No Al Jefferson talk again. Let's either hit a home run or rebuild. Rebuilding can be great. There are at least 8 players in next years class who can be franchise players.
  2. No one needs Josh Smith more than D12. No one. You can trade to get a good PF, you can't trade to get D12. There aren't that many elite players in the NBA.
  3. Dennis is, I think he will be more impactful at PG than Teague just due to the fact he's playing with Horford who is great at PnR's. I think Dennis coming out of Europe is more like Jennings than Rondo but I see the comparisons to both players. Bebe, he's clearly not ready yet. With that said, he doesn't have to be.
  4. The Celts are looking for an asset(Teague) and for you to take a contract. If we do that, it could cost us 22-24 mil in cap space. I don't think that will be a good idea because we wouldn't have money for D12 which would be 100% of the reason to do the deal.
  5. I really don't mind Dennis Jenkins Cunningham Horford Bebe/Mike M As a starting five. It will be exciting hoops. They will lose a lot but that's a part of rebuilding.

    Neto

He supposely on the Utah Jazz.
  7. While I hope it happens, it depends on CP3.
  8. Danny Ferry is the greatest GM we have EVER had. EVER. No one is close. Maybe the guy who drafted Pettit but that was way before my time. Let's look at the picks: Bebe- He is a raw center with 7'6 wingspan, 7ft, and can likely be a game changer on defense once he develops. His game is comparable to Tyson Chandler but his running the court ability is similar to Tyler Zeller and Joakim Noah. He understands the PnR very good like Spitter for SA and he is even better at movement. He maybe two to three years away from making a serious impact, he is good enough right now to at least play spot minutes for a contender and he can start and show flashes for a terrible team. I loved this pick more than most. Now Bebe has his limits. His post game is bad, his range is bad, and he tends to loaf at times when he's not involved which is similar to Chandler. He is only 4 pounds lighter than Tyson when he entered the NBA. Tyson was the #2 pick, Bebe was 16. Great value. Dennis Schröder- This might be one of the biggest steals in the draft. People call him Baby Rondo or German Rondo because his BBIQ but is rates more similar to Brandon Jennings in my opinion. While does somethings like Rondo like BBIQ and he's a pass first PG, his game is more like Jennings. Jennings while his range is inconsistent, he still can get threes off the ball. Jennings also has the ability to create his shot off of the dribble. Dennis has has similar range to Jennings but lacks the ability to create his shot off the the dribble. Jennings like Dennis has amazing quickness. Both Jennings and Dennis are very turnover prone PG's. Because of Dennis BBIQ, Dennis is more effective at running PnR's but in large part that could be to personnel but Jennings tend to have average BBIQ. Dennis has elite BBIQ for someone of his age and is expected to come to the NBA with high BBIQ as well. From all I seen with handles, Jennings has the electric And 1 like handles while Dennis has amazing array of handles that are useful in the game. When Jennings came out of Roma and Dennis out of Germany, they are similar prospects. Dennis is better at PG and Dennis has better defensive potential without question. In other words, I would expect him to be one of the best rookies in this class like Jennings was as a rookie. The fact that he gets to play with an elite PnR PF is a match made in heaven for his impact on the game. He can really become one of the best players in the NBA in the right system and Atlanta is that. Another amazing steal for Atlanta in terms of value but he would be a good pick for us at 3 or 4. AHF quoted me on the chat calling Mike Muscala a metrics superstar and one of the most skilled players in the draft. He reminds me of Mike Miller with more defensive potential. He was one player I really felt should be drafted in the top 25. I felt he would be perfect for a team like the Knicks who lack ball movement and need someone who can spread the floor and open things up for Melo. I was a big fan of Mike. Doesn't have many weaknesses. His issues are he isn't that quick, he isn't big but that can easily change. The weight room and trainers can change that in the NBA. In played v. weak comp. Between him and Jammal Franklin going in the 2nd round are the two BIGGEST steals in the draft to me. He will be someone who could start at center next year. Clearly not for 30 MPG but for 25MPG and give you some solid production as well. A total STEAL. It's rare Atlanta has good drafts. Last year was a good draft and it was rare. It is almost impossible when Atlanta has elite drafts that change a franchise. This was one of those type of drafts. This is clearly the best draft Atlanta has ever had. Danny Ferry is the greatest GM we have ever had and he's underpaid.
  9. I like this thread. I choose Thabeet. #2 pick. Did absolutely nothing. The rest did something. Thabeet did nothing. Jay Williams. He really could have been what Irving was. He killed all of that. Bowie was still a solid player but his injuries kept him from being a great player and being picked before MJ usually gets his value lowered in most ppls eyes. 2000 was a terrible class. You had no choice but to suck at your pick in that draft.
  10. No one knows what we are going to do. Ferry has a tight lip on the COMPLETE organization.
  11. The media and Marvin's workouts are what did it. Marvin was never better or as good as CP3 or Deron. He was always a decent player with great physical tools but his mindset wasn't strong. With that said, barring injuries, Marvin could have been a pretty good player even for us but injuries and him never going to be CP3 or Deron killed him. It's always hard to rate true PG's in the NBA draft. They are never as talented as guys like Rose, Wall or Westbrook and they are usually much more effective in the NBA than in college even if they were elite in college.
  12. I don't have to tell stories. I never do. I have other accounts on numerous other sites. I am 100% all the time and I never try to lie even if I am dead wrong. You don't have to disrespect me Dolfan.
  13. He didn't start lifting till his SR year. We keep telling you this but you keep ignoring it. He was trying to prepare his body for the NBA since he was a favorite to go #1 that upcoming year. All of the pics you posted are from his SR once he started lifting.
  14. I seen him in his peak, you need to quit with the silly insults. If I can get reprimanded for it, you should too.
  15. He was average at best. You can try to overrate him but I seen him play a lot of games. He was average. Noel will be much better. He is much more talented and gifted than Ratliff. Noel can be a yearly DPOY candidate. Ratliff was NEVER that. Like I said, Noel's potential is more comparable to Deke in my opinion and it's final. Nothing else to discuss.
  16. I am telling you from personal experience. You are trying to tell me otherwise when I played v. the dude.
  17. Yes it does. I was guarding him, I knew how big he was compared to me.
  18. I wasn't talking about his rookie year. I was talking about before his SR year of HS.
  19. Bismark was more raw than most of these guys but his ceiling is higher as well. Don't count out Bismark. Udoh could happen to some of these guys if they end in up a bad situation for their talent.
  20. After Noel. This draft is littered with guys who could be average level NBA centers. So while it's a deep center class, it's still nothing special.
  21. We really only have one asset right now. That's why rebuilding is likely the best option unless we want to go through the spin cycle of being in the middle. It doesn't even look likely we will get that top 5 pick after all.
  22. I see him as an impact player defensively by his 2nd season in the NBA. That is superior to what I've seen at his best from Ratliff. A fair comparison could be Larry Sanders but I think Noel is better at getting steals right now than Sanders. I think Noel is going to be an impact player in the NBA. So I flat out disagree with 99% of what's being said here.
  23. In comparison to how talented Noel is, you are comparing him to a scrub. Ratliff is an average center, he is someone you look at and say, I would take him over Zaza. He is not someone you compare to the #1 pick in a draft that has excellent defensive tools and is talented to boot.
