  1. Allen wasn't elite. He was never elite unless you are talking about scoring and shooting but overall he wasn't. Clyde is Clyde, I was never a huge Drexler fan but I did think he was very good. A.I. is elite talent, he was elite as a player for 2-3 years but that's was it. Wade carried that team often during that season. Shaq was regressing that season, not just in those Finals.
  2. It's because of the way he plays. Has little PG skills. Has average BBIQ. Doesn't take command of the offense. His teammates don't respect him. He can't run a PnR well at all and get's the screener into foul trouble by lacking timing, patience, or understanding. He uses the PnR to create his own offense like Jamal. His PnR defense is awful at best. His defensive BBIQ is average. He is a talented player. One who could be a top 50 player. But with his lack of PG skills, command of the offense, and PnR defense he might be best as a 25-28MPG super sub instead of a starter for any NBA team.
  3. Manu never carried his team nor did Allen. Honestly, no one other than Wade, Kobe or MJ. Those are elite players. The rest are not elite.
  4. I'll take Korver. While everything you said is right, I think Korver is the best off the ball 3 point shooter in the NBA and that's what you need when you have D12. He is not as good as a 3pt shooter as Steph is, no one is but Korver is as good as anyone we had in the NBA. Otherwise, I would take Delfino.
  5. I honestly felt like Deron was sold into Brooklyn like CP3 is with LA but he just wanted assurance. For Deron, that was Joe. For CP3, that was Doc. I feel like Dallas got the same vibes. They didn't give their best shot but I know they wished they did now. I say it will be Bud, Ferry, and Nique.
  6. If we look at the #'s. Iggy corner 3 were at 46% in 2011-12 but at 27% in 2012-13. That's Josh territory but in 2011-12, he was one of the best corner 3 point shooters in the NBA. I am really not sold on Josh at SF. I liken Josh to Manu G. He is someone who can be an all time great 6th man. He can play starter minutes but comes off of the bench and plays wherever we need him. That would give us a chance to start Korver and Jenkins depending on the match-up. Josh is a joker player. If he is used right, he can be an elite piece for us. I would prefer Iggy over Josh. It's like Manu v. Leonard? Who would you rather? Not literally of course but one is an amazing 6th man and the other is a top tier level role player.
  7. Sign Iggy or resign Smoove Start Dennis, bring back Devin Resign Korver!!!!!! Lou and Jenkins as a backup SG Horf and Scott at PF. D12, Bebe, and Mike M at C while Bebe and Mike can spot at PF as well. I think we can offer the best team to D12 for a title. We can give him the best overall defensive team in the NBA. A sharpshooter in Korver and Jenkins. A young stud teenager at PG in Dennis and we have backups for him at centers. Now, Brooklyn will be a problem but after that, I feel great about our chances of beating Miami, Chicago and Indy in the playoffs.
  8. While this is true, he is only worth like 2-2.5 million dollars.
  9. Ferry knows what to push. You get to play with one of the best PF's in the NBA who plays offense and defense. We can sign Devin Harris or start our super teenage PG in Dennis. We can sign Iggy or resign Smoove. We can resign Korver and play him at the SG with Jenkins coming off the bench. We can develop Bebe to be a solid backup for you. We have solid depth at all positions. We have a top tier 6th man in Lou Williams. Homecoming glory.
  10. Aisk isn't that good is the issue. Another player who gets outproduced more than he produces but his issue is offense, his hands, and his poison pill contract. With that said, he is a rim protector and he does add value to his team moreso than anyone else for the Rockets. Him and Al would be a good fit. Either way, if you want to stay in the middle. Bring in Aisk.
  11. Why? We can't win anything with him and we can't tank with him either.
  12. Seriously, Josh would need to take around 8-9 mil in his first year. He really needs to take less money otherwise, we can't resign Korver who is vital.
  13. Josh would need to take less money.
  14. I rather Bynum over Jefferson. I rather tank over Bynum and it's not even close. That should tell you I am not feeling either player. One is damaged goods and the other has to be in the perfect fit which isn't us.
  15. I actually want Harris back for the room exception if we land Dwight. He can backup Dennis and be a mentor to him as well.
  16. I honestly think Dennis could give us more than Jeff as a starter this year. True PG. Great at PnR. Tony Parker started 72 games as a 19 year old rookie and helped his team to the 2nd round as a rookie. Brandon Jennings was a 2009–10 NBA 1st Team All-Rookie (unanimous selection). I have no doubt Dennis could be more impactful than Teague. Sorry guys but Dennis will make life a lot easier for Horf, Teague doesn't.
  17. His defense is still what it has always been. Good on ball defender. Terrible PnR defender, and average defensive BBIQ. I think he is underrated to some degree but he gets exposed as a starter on offense and defense.
  18. Not really. Robinson has potential and they need to replace Hickson.
  19. JJ is not the same player. He didn't have that lift. It was the same in Atlanta in his last year in Atlanta. He looked like he lost a step. Joe as inconsistent as he was for Brooklyn, he wasn't the reason they lost. They had plenty of issues in Brooklyn last year. Remember, him posting out was an automatic two. The last two years, it hasn't been an easy basket for him.
  20. With the Robinson deal for cap.Houston can now offer the max to Dwight Howard.
  21. Why would you prefer Harden as a #2 option. Extremely high usage player. Struggles off the ball which is why he came off the bench in OKC. Isn't much of a team player. His on/off is actually in the negative and you want him as a #2 option? Give me prime Joe all day and night. We are going to disagree on Al forever. So we aren't going to go into that. We finally have a legit PnR PG who is a true PG in Dennis S. Al averaged 20/10 in the 2nd half of the season on high efficiency and he had an very good impact on offense and defense as well as the team. Give me Al Horford.
  22. Joe was doubled teamed and we didn't have someone who could really do it as a #1 option and always got exposed in the playoffs for it. Harden has average BBIQ, his game is basic and made for the regular season and it doesn't matter if D12 goes to Houston or not. He will always struggle in the playoffs. His game is much better in transition. Doesn't that sound like guys like Blake Griffin, Vince Carter, etc. Those guys are #1 options and have been seen as superstars much bigger than Harden.
  23. Bebe game is much better for the NBA than FIBA. Splitter game was much better for FIBA than the NBA. Splitter was one of the best players in Europe. Bebe wasn't but Bebe could be one of the best centers in the NBA. Just a different league that ask for different things.
  24. When Rondo entered the NBA, I didn't think he was ever a backup level PG. He greatly improved. Him and Josh Smith had some of the biggest gains I've seen a player make. But in reality, I think Dennis is superior to Rondo when he came into the NBA. Like I said, I see him as a Jennings/Rondo blend.
  25. Jennings is vastly underrated by those who only look at stats. If you watched him over the years, he is a very talented player who is in a personnel grouping that is an amazingly poor fit for his skill-set. I am sorry but I don't buy the Jennings is overrated ticket. Darren Collison is not near Brandon Jennings. Not even close. Like I said, if you watch the game and are a stats guy, you make exception for Jennings. If you are just a stats guy or want a PG to play a certain way, you might not like Jennings.
