  1. Well the good thing will be is that we will have enough money to resign Crawford before someone else does. P
  2. At least we got hope. But, I wouldn't hold my breath. Because they might not be any good to 3004. At least then maybe you can channel into the franchise for a look at what a good team may look like. P
  3. Well I'm glad someelse can see the light on this site. I will still pull for this pathetic team. Knight has destroyed us with this trade. Thanks. P
  4. That doesn't shock me. We are morons for thinking that Knight is a good GM. P
  5. I hope you are right. I'm glad you are so confident that a mid 1st rounder and JT will get a us a lottery pick. I don't think it will happen since everyone was banging down the door for JT this past offseason. P
  6. Yeah the bad joke is the Hawks organization. Anyways I wish B. Knight would tell me what good a Milwaukee lottery protected pick does us. They think throwing games is a good way to go to secure the high school saviour. That's what we are putting our faith in, because we can't put our faith in free agents since none of any significance will sign here. P
  7. He will be gone in the summer, more like September when his BYC is gone. P
  8. Even if the Hawks finish with the worse record, I would be willing to be that they still don't get the first pick. Because the lottery will screw us. That is the Hawks luck. Bad GM's and bad luck. P
  9. Maybe you can scalp them and only have to give up 10 bucks when you get rid of them.
  10. Yeah Knight is just dumb, he can say all the cleches he wants, but he better get a headliner in here in the offseason or guess what all we will be is a bad team with a lot of cap space that no free agents want to play for. Then we will need another new ownership to move this team out of the city. P
  11. I still don't think Detroit is going to be representing the east in the finals with this trade just my opinion. I actually like the Hornets. But, who knows. I think it is not a given the Pistons are going to the finals. P
  12. I may agree with you on that one. But the teams below the Hawks are just as bad. Maybe the Bulls pass the Hawks. P
  13. There's no guarantee that we will have a top 3 pick, we are still behind the Suns, Bulls, Wizards and Magic. I wouldn't be so quick to think those guys are going to pass in wins. P
  14. and you cry about Reef being gone from the team, but guess what he won't be leading the Blazers to the playoffs either, so he will be stuck with that label another year I guess you don't watch much NBA analysis, because anything you turn that talks about Sheed considers him a top 15 player. You just don't want to admit, because Reef doesn't get the same consideration. Yes, I like Reef. I just can admit when someone is better. And no I don't think Kobe will sign here. Especially now who would want to come here. No one. Maybe Reef in the summer of 2005. P
  15. Free agents want to come to a team with promise and that could be up coming. With Wallace gone this does nothing for winning in this town. And like I have stated in the past. Yes, it has been said Wallace is going to NY. But, winning changes everything, as well as money. Do you thing Sheed turns down a bigger contract with Atlanta to go to NY. With also the promise of having more money to spend on Free agents and a top 15 rookie coming in. He may still go to NY, but other Free agents may still find it attractive to be here to replace Wallace. Some free agents may see it is possible to win after they may have seen what Wallace did in Atlanta. Instead all anybody is going to see is team of a bunch of scrubs. This is horrible. I just love the Hawk fans that think losing is good. I'm sorry I like to see my team win. P
  16. I understand that. I have no problems understanding that. I like to see this team win, not lose. Also, I don't think we are going to finish worse than the Suns, Magic, and Wizards. Possiblly the Bulls. They will all finish worse than us, so what does that do for the team nothing. So keeping Wallace wouldn't affect our draft position that much considering we won't finish worse than those teams anyways. P
  17. who on the current roster is better Play? No one. So you are saying that Wallace doesn't bring credibility for a team, your on drugs. It's a consenus through out the league he is considered a top 15 player in the league. That's credibility to me. P
  18. Let's hope your right Zachary. Because I would much rather watch Wallace play with the guys we have then NBDL players. Which is what we will be stuck with the next two years and there is no guarantees that Howard or Smith or Okafur is the next LeBron. Well, let me answer that for you. They aren't. I know you don't post a lot, but let's hope you aren't whining when no FA wants to come here and the record is horrible and none of our draft picks pan out. P
  19. I totally agree JT Fan. The laughing stock. Nice work you piece of S&*^ Knight. P
  20. With this trade Jackson and Terry won't be around after this year. What a stupid trade. Not that I'm stuck on Jackson and Terry. But, at least with Wallace you have some credibility now you have none. Who wants to come here? B. Knight is so stupid. P
  21. I hope no one comes out to support this team. Thanks B. Knight you just secured us nothing. We aren't going to be worse than Orlando, Wash or the Suns. What good is Milwaukee's pick. This deal sucks. Yes, I'm venting. No reason to watch this team. I hope we do have the 4th or 5th worse record in the league and we get locked out of the top 3 picks. It serves us right for doing a dumb trade. I hope this blows up in Knight's face. I could live with letting Wallace play out his time here and watching him walk. We don't accomplish nothing with Milwaukee's pick. What a piece S@#@ Knight is. Stupid F!@@ Boycott the Hawks, when new ownership comes in I hope they can Knight. P
  22. I read that same thing today in the Detroit newspapers. I maybe the only one on this site that things this way, but I hope it doesn't happen. I would rather make the trade to Denver with Doleac for White and then see how this team finishes out the year. I'm not one of these Hawk supporters that want us to lose for the sake of getting a good pick. I would like to see this team have a chance to win. If Wallace leaves in the off season so be it. There is no guarantees in the lottery anyway. Who knows how good Howard is going to be or Okafur for that matter. Or what if we do have the worse record but are picking 3rd due to the lottery balls. I just think it is wrong to root for your team to lose. Regardless of what position we will be picking in the draft we will still have plenty of cap room to make significant moves in the next couple of years. Also, did some of you think that if this team made a run for the playoffs or improved it's play in the last 30 games what that would do in the team outlook? It would be more attractive to free agents. Than it would be if the team was picking first in the draft. Some say Wallace doesn't look like he will resign and that is fine. But, if this team starts playing better do you not think the thoughts will creep in Rasheed's head that maybe I could resign here. They have money it's an upcoming team and they are going to be able to sign other top players. Why wouldn't I want to be a part of it? I'm not saying he would resign, but it would make him think twice. Also, more free agents would be interested in the team because they would recognize the team isn't as bad as they thought. It just seems to me that there are more positives for us winning than tanking the season. Most importantly it's good to win and not to be the running joke of everyone that associates themselves with the league. So count me as one that roots for this team to win and the better chance of that is keeping Wallace and not trading him for four scrubs that sit on the bench for Detroit and either their draft pick or philly's, whichever one they give to us. You mine as well forfeit the rest of the games if that supposed trade goes through. No one is going to come out for: Jackson JT Diaw Pryzbilla Sura How could you support that? Yeah you may get the #1 pick, but I think karma would go against the Hawks. They would end up with #2 or #3. Or better yet they would still not be worse than the Wizards, Magic, Bulls or Suns. Who all have a worse record than the Hawks. So guess what, you don't get a top 3 pick and you still suck which won't draw any interest to your team. Keep Wallace see how the chips fall. If you trade him you are not getting any benefits. You get the same money off the cap if he stays. Keep him. Just my opinion. P
  23. The main problem with this trade is that you can't trade Wallace with any other Hawks involved. You would have to trade Wallace by himself. If you don't you would have to wait the 90 days to trade him. P
  24. He also went on to say, that the Hawks have no chance at landing Kobe. For the simple fact that Kobe does not want to go to a rebuilding situation. Which leads me to this thought, IF for some unknown reason the Hawks actually play well after this trade and Sheed raises his game from what it is now and carries the Hawks to the playoffs or close to it. Would Kobe be interested? Before people scoff let's look at this, You could sign Kobe, get a young guy in the draft, and either keep Wallace (because with Bird rights you can go over the cap to sign your own players, new owners will spend money if necessary)or do sign and trade to get a good player back. Also, the attraction of having a new coach. Probably Rivers. I wouldn't say that after making those moves we would be in a rebuilding stage. I would say we would be classified as a contender in the poor eastern conference. Not to mention the favorites to win the weak division (Charlotte, Orlando, Miami, and Atlanta) we are in next year. But, if this team plays worse than it did before the trade. These thoughts could be thrown out the window. But, it would be nice to see a lineup of: JT Kobe Jackson Wallace Nazr Rivers (coaching) P
  25. Just to clarify the Boston trade they were going to give us Chris Mills (6.6 million) and two scrubs that blance out the trade with their number for this year. The two scrubs were not going to be in the last year of their contracts according to the report. So we were only clearing 6.6 million. The 1st round pick is nice, but if Boston holds onto the 8th playoff spot, it won't be a lottery pick. I would much rather have done the Portland deal. P
