  1. I think this is a good deal for the Saints. Their Oline was worse this year and Graham was a shadow of Graham's 2013 season. He wasn't even the best TE in the division this season. Now they get a top center and a first round pick.
  2. Philly is 6-4 in his last 10 at home... maybe... there are much more possibilities the Nets win that game than lose anyway Let's focus on tonight's game first.
  3. I didn't say Tavares wasn't better defensively, offensively he reaches Ajinca's level I would be happy. It doesn't mean anything that he played in Spain, France or in the Vatican City. Ajinca played EUROLEAGUE which is the important thing and what top players in Europe want to. Ajinca in 2013 Eurobasket was DOMINANT and that's the reason I think the NBA gave him another opportunity.
  4. Ginobili was a starter when he was selected for the All-Star. Just an opinion: after both contracts end, if not before, Dennis will be our starting PG and Teague will sign elsewhere/be traded Anyway, let's just enjoy them this year and we will see in summer.
  5. Ajinca is only 26. He had great potential but didn't realize how to use it...... Tavares will turn 23 this months. If in 2 years he reaches Ajinca last year's level we should be happy...
  6. I think so. You must be a better all-around player in Europe to get minutes while in the NBA you can get minutes if you are a good specialist. NBA rules also help players like Walter Tavares. I don't expect any elite player, but if he continue developing his game and his shoot as he should to play more minutes in Atlanta I think he will be Ajinca 2.0 with better defense which is something great for a second rounder. I do not expect any major contribution the first year he comes.
  7. He's graceful for playing basketball too. In the film it appears how they found him. (If I remember well)One member of Gran Canaria's staff for children and younger people used to take a coffee every day at the same bar and he met a german who had some business things in Cape Verde. He told him that he had an enormous neighbor there in Cape Verde, so they were really intrigued and they travelled to Cape Verde. That was a really cool story. Then they talked about what happened in Cape Verde, how he reached in the Canary Islands, how he developed, his new life, etc. He was also very lucky to land there, the Canary Islands (which isn't even Europe ) must be really easy for a player from Cape Verde to adapt and they have a good young section and fans. BTW "La Liga" is used just for soccer, in basketball we call the league "ACB", even if "Liga", means league.
  8. I watched it a few weeks ago, I didn't see this thread. There were a few cool stories, I liked it.
  9. I told you guys the Jazz would help us. Our pick is right now... 9th!
  10. There is no need to rest 3-4 important players in one night with an easy schedule we are going to face until we end the regular season (except one week where we face GSW, OKC, SAS). We will have a lot of days to rest our players. Anyway that doesn't mean anything, but our teams deserves to be number 1 in the NBA and those losses make it easier for the Western teams...
  11. Pay attention to the Jazz. They are 1.5 behind the Nets and they are 7-3 in the last 10 with some wins against top competition. They will have to play this Friday at Philadelphia, Saturday at Brooklyn and Tuesday against Knicks at home. Let's hope Snyder helps us.
  12. Could the Nuggets start winning games without Shaw? They still have time to pass the Nets and they don't have a bad roster...
  13. http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2015/03/james-harden-gets-one-game-suspension-for-kick-to-lebron/ James Harden gets one-game suspension for kick to LeBron The NBA on Monday reacted to James Harden’s “reaction,” booting him from Tuesday game in Atlanta for kicking Cavaliers star LeBron James on Sunday in Houston. Harden received the one-game suspension for kicking James below the belt in the third quarter of Sunday’s win in Toyota Center. It will be the first game he has missed this season. Harden, who was unavailable for comment on Monday, said on Sunday that he did not believe his action would merit a suspension. “It’s a reaction,” Harden said. “They called a flagrant. Next play we moved on.” Rockets coach Kevin McHale said he did not see the incident. On Monday, when he was asked if he had seen the video and had any thoughts about the flagrant foul, McHale said, “I don’t have any idea.” “I don’t think anything that happened in that game for either team warrants anybody missing any games,” said Rockets guard Jason Terry, who was suspended for a 2007 playoff game for a below-the-belt punch. “Not even thinking down that line.” I would have prefered he plays. I wanted to beat ISO-Harden...
  14. Despite his last game, Ryan Schraeder played well. Our only hole is LG and if Matthews and Schraeder develop as it's expected, we would have a great OL. Take a pass rusher or a linebacker with the 8th pick.
  15. JPP will be re-signed or tagged. I'm waiting for the Chieffs to cut Tamba Hali. BTW the Falcons also cut Blalock and Steven Jackson.
  16. Dennis over the last 14 games per 36min: 19.5 points 8.3 assits 3.2 rebounds 44%FG 43%3P 92%FT Those are ELITE numbers.
  17. He is destined to be a great basketball player and a very handsome guy. Congratulations!!
  18. This guy said a few days ago that he was an Atlanta Falcons fan.
  19. They will have to play away against the Nuggets, Pelicans, Mavs and Rockets and then at home vs GSW. That magic number is going to be negative soon...
  20. Build a strong running game and firm up that OL and the offense is almost set. A TE (it doesn't have to be a star, just a legitimate starter) and maybe a quick WR from the 4th round and we will have a hell of an offense. Those are not a lot of needs. Just maybe 2 FAs and two draft picks, not a lot, we would still have money and picks to rebuild that defense. I'm tired of watching the Falcons fail on 3&shorts.
  21. In any trade you make, a first round, even lottery protected, has a lot of value in the NBA. It can give you good players via trade or just wait and try to draft a good project. Once Ferry realizes that: a) Payne isn't anything special to wait for (that doesn't mean he is a bad player) b) Payne won't contribute this year Is a good move, because if you don't use Payne he will lose his value like Jenkins. No one would give us a first round pick for Jenkins. Everyone wanted a future all-star with the 15th pick? Could we have made a better pick? Yes, but you just realize that he won't led your team to the next level and prepare your team for the future. That first round will help us. And be sure the Wolves will make the playoffs in one of the next 6 years. The West is changing and they have an incredible roster, they will have enough time to develop.
  22. I can understand the trade. Now let's move on and sign a good free agent. Or make a trade. I would really like Wilson Chandler. On the other hand the Wolves have become my favorite project in the NBA. Yesterday I said that they needed to add an athletic PF who can shoot in their project... there you have Payne Rubio-Lavine-Wiggins-Payne-Dieng... they are doing things well in the office. They will need good coaching too but they have a lot of potential...
