OK . . that's enough rest. Get Bogi back in this game. Sit AJ down. Possibly sit JJ down too. Trae Forrest Bogi Okongwu Capela That's who I'd roll with.

Nate has a MAJOR decision to make. He's going to want to get Trae back in, but sub out Bogi for AJ, who is -13 tonight. Forrest is playing well too. Does he try to rest people? Go back to his starters?

Those 2 FTs may turn out to be big. Of course, if Trae goes out the game, these are the most critical moments of the game. Can't give any ground back in the beginning of this 4th quarter.

Correct sub by getting Bogi in right now. Have to make the stand right here to slow down the run.

Just stay aggressive Trae. Win or lose, don't keep any bullets in the gun.

It is what it is. If he's the only one that's turning it over, and if points aren't coming from his turnovers, it won't nearly be the detriment that people think it will be.

As long as prevent a long losing streak from happening, we're OK. We've gone through this the past 2 seasons with people out. This will be the time ( win or lose ) that people start to get more reps that they normally wouldn't get. Some will figure things out, and become better players. Some won't. I just need Trae to be as aggressive as possible, while still dishing out passes to get teammates wide open looks at the basket or easy layups/dunks at the rim. If I'm Nate, I'm putting Trae on Kyrie, just to throw the flow of the Nets offense off. If the Nets see that, they'll try to attack Trae as much as possible. And if they do that, it keeps the ball out of Durant's hands a little bit more.

Those things are sharp forreal. If I were younger I'd definitely get them. Not a fan of all of that multi-colored stuff that the kids like.- 208 replies

Who will step up? I'm thinking that Bogi gets moved into the starting lineup, or maybe he still comes off the bench? If AJ still starts, I want him not only shooting 3s, but trying to get into the paint to shoot a high percentage. Trae has to go into "forced superstar" mode. Just play your entire game. And don't worry about any criticism.

As you all know, we went 6 - 36 from 3 last night. Here are all of the shots by the Hawks Video and Shotcharts | Stats | NBA.com I see a lot of contested 3s being taken by our guys. But I also see some guys getting into the paint, and looking to pass out to a shooter instead of looking to shoot ( or to draw contact ), Not saying this is a bad thing, but they are possibly passing up opportunities to get to the FT line if they get fouled.

I was looking at Capela's game log instead of the team's. Looks like that Rockets team was actually 10 - 1 without Capela in the lineup, and 15 - 10 without him. So they were fooled, thinking they could be borderline elite without Capela in the lineup, but started to get exposed later in that season. They went 10 - 2 directly after the Capela trade, but fell off significantly to finish the year, going 5 - 8. Now did someone get hurt? I don't know.- 208 replies

In that season, they were 44 - 28 overall. But they were also 9 - 9 after they traded Capela . . compared to 7 - 1 when Capela was hurt or out of the lineup, but still on the team. Houston thought they had found their answer by playing small and having Westbrook dominate paint scoring. But they couldn't stop anybody. One of the reasons why I'm not overly concerned about things, is that as long as our defense stays mostly consistent, we can win games in which our offense struggles. With Bogi back, we may have to shake up this lineup a little. Give more time to Vit, due to his passing ability, and less to AJ or JJ ( when they're not effective ). Or, you simply increase the minutes of the starters + Bogi, and have lineups for the bench that DON'T include either Trae or Dejounte. Contrary to popular belief, Trae + Dejounte play well with each other, but both of them are struggling playing with the bench units.- 208 replies
