Guys - thats the point, the biggest issue with a free market like this is this is what eventually happens, the outlying issue isnt as much as they are only a few or 2 teams that matter its that then everyone else is like ok lets TANK - WELL the tank strategy doesnt work when everyone starts to feel thats what they have to do to be the next one of these "selected" teams. ITs a horrible fking cycle that were dealing with in basketball and a damn shame but its the nature of the system, the league really needs to step in and make systemic changes because this is going to keep happening, its been proven over last 5 or 6 years its the only way to win.

If this is true def makes u feel a little bit better - and goes along with other reports that the HAWKS spent lots of resources vetting the shit out of dwight and felt they can change the perception of him, if we can pull that off then yes, we should get to the table more and if AL doesnt all of a sudden improve in BOS, then the hawks will look like real good guys, cuz we improved DH AND still wanted to get Horford back and tried to do right thing by him, we have our work cut out for us, but so does Al, is he playing center or PF up there ?

some of yall dont get it - this completely changes the dynamic we lost teague and horford for dwight - and yall are thrilled. I dont know what Al would do at the 4 full time, i think paul is a bit more athletic there and just as smart, love Al but i just dont know what he would look like there, Paul has to get his 3 point shot better though if we lose AL that is huge, and Baze really has to get better.

I get what you are saying but not really what the MO or what the team has been saying, if horford balked its because we never were really going to go all out for him, if we really wanted him then it should never have gotten this far, trades should have been lined up not like well see what happens guys dont work on this all year without some plan, Im very surprised we arent trading multiple players to the Nets, or even gotten a decent wing from Denver or Utah although I dont who they would replace Galli or Hayward with.
