  1. yea yea yea lascar in the house, props to you my broda
  2. Stay Tune my a$$.... this franchise today has gone from bad to worse. The meaning of not getting JJ it went from playoff potential team to lottery team again especially with no franchise player coming out next year. Belkin screwed this franchise and now the judge let Belkin do it to us again.
  3. Dude if ZaZa can produce as a starting center 12 and 10....well he have just found our future starting center....even if he only averages 1 block per game, we have Mr. Smith that can put those numbers for us and he is our paint intimidator. I just hope we can find a good backup center for Zaza, and I dont mean Collier nor Arthur Johnson.
  4. Yea and you know what Imagine if Colangelo balks and goes for the Belkin offer of Diaw and 2nd rounder, then we will all sit here and say this guy is a great business man and we will all say that he is a genius.

    Damn!!!

If this is true, than this organization is going to $hits in just 1 week time.
  6. Bang! Bang! Bang! Damn your hot Dochawk. Obviously this deal was approved by everyone before it was layout on the table, when it came down to sign, he got cold feet. He should go with the trade now that he already agreed on it, or else who can tell what will become of him and the Hawks front office.
  7. great trade for us, we wont have to give up any players. call me Belkin now, I'm sure he will go for something like that.
  8. Great point. Belkin most likely agreed on this deal and he is now balking up, but lord knows how many more deals BK had in store for the team and Belkin didn't approve. This organization needs JJ....this team needs to have a successful year this year, at least borderline playoffs. WE CANNOT have another 20 games or less win season, because it will destroy this organization up.
  9. If Belkin does not agree to this trade.....this organization will be the laughing stock of the league. I will be surprised if any of these players would actually fell like playing. Belkin can make them or break them by signing the deal. This team can believe in themselves to make the playoffs this year with JJ or they can all be bummed out by not having a player like JJ.
  10. Googs is definitely a keeper, the guy might be in the mid 30's but he has had a coupel of injuries so his legs still has alot of mileage left. Googs can shoot quite well, good rebounder and he hustles and plays pretty good defense.
  11. True, I myself and others here have said that Diaw is and can be a very good player, he has all the tools, strong body, 6'8 great handles, his shot is getting better each and every day, rebounds well, plays great defense....BUT his question mark is toughness....he is not a tough player and is very soft. Thats why he is getting traded. BK did a great job on scouting Diaw, because he can do it all, but he is just too soft and afraid too shoot. Maybe as he gets older he becomes more aggressive, but if we had kept our patience we would of lost on JJ.
  12. Dont get me wrong JJ is a good player, BUT IS HE REALLY ALLSTAR MATERIAL AND WORHT THESE PICKS? Yes he avg 17 ppg with the Suns last year, but that was with a team that opposing teams put more attention on Nash, Amare and Matrix. Nash penetrates defense reacts and leaves JJ wide open for three, we dont have that, as a matter of fact he is going to be the PG I really hope that BK sees something special in Joe, and he doesnt pan out to be a bust. Something also, now FA's might want to sign with us because JJ coming and all the talent we have in our team....maybe that center we desperately need Curry or possibly Hunter for cheap or both.
  13. I couldnt agree with Hotlanta more. KG is worth it Kobe is worth it Wade is worth it Amare is worth it Lebron is worth it Duncan is worth it ....get my drift JJ is not worth all this. Dont get me wrong, he is a good player but not for all this.
  14. I totally agree with everything you said dolfan. Yesterday in an interview with Marvin against the Sonics game, he stated that his shot is not falling like it normally is. So hopefully his jumper is better than what we seen. I still feel that his hamstring is holding him back a bit.
  15. Are you on medications, Diesel? Cus boy do you offer some BS trades.
  16. Man I would love to do this. It would be me and wife and maybe my daughter coming up from Miami. It would have to definitely be a weekend game, count me in.
  17. Quote: To play a little devil's advocate I would say how many years of 13 win seasons can the Hawk's franchise economically sustain? Also, since everyone thinks Marvin, Chill, and Smoove are gonna get $10 million dollar contracts, how could you afford another top 3 pick to have to pay down the road? Final Quest has made great points here. This franchise can no longer afford losing seasons and next year if we get a top three pick there will come a time where to have to keep and afford Chillz, Marv and Smoove and I dont think the HFO will have that kind of money to throw that money around.
  18. Marvin Williams Profile Have any of you seen him play last year in North Carolina? I saw approximately 15 North Carolina Games plus the tourney games, and this kid is all that and a bag of chips. He takes pride on defense, he loves to play inside and bang and grab o-boards, he enjoys diving on the floor for lose balls, he is very emotional player, but at the same time he keeps his composure. He also has the outside game, he can put the ball on floor and take it hard to the hole and he has a smooth jumper with 3 point range. Marvin has all the tools. I guarantee he will be a star player in this league, the scary part of all is that he is only 19 and he will continue to get better.
  19. Quote: i still think: Paul will be the best pick out of this draft. Deron will be the best PG out of this draft and maybe better than Kidd. Dude, Diesel now you realy went too far. First of all you contradict yourself by saying "Paul will be the best pick out of this draft" but then you said that "Deron will be the best PG out of this draft and maybe better than Kidd." Dude what kind of lame comment is that, make up your mind who will be better Paul or Deron. How can you say that Deron might be better than Kidd. That is some vague comment, D. Is like saying Lebron might be better than Jordan.
  20. Carlos Arroyo and Theo Ratliff. Comments on Theo Ratliff Quote: Another possibility is veteran shot-blocker Theo Ratliff, who may be waived by the Portland Trail Blazers as part of the amnesty provision in the new collective bargaining agreement. (Teams that pay the luxury tax have a one-time opportunity to release a player. Such teams would still have to pay the player's salary, but he could earn a second salary with another team.) Comments on Carlos Arroyo Quote: Q: Is Carlos Arroyo still in the plans? A: Very much so. The Pistons believe -- and Larry Brown is on board with this -- that with a full training camp under his belt, Arroyo can be the change of pace point guard they thought he would be. That said, if some kind of trade avails itself to the Pistons, one that Dumars feels he can't refuse, Arroyo would be a likely part of the package. No such deal has been discussed, though. Both these players definitely fit our needs. Theo has stayed healthy for 2 years and is one of the best shotblockers in the league if not the best. And Arroyo is a very good PG, he will definitely fit our needs and we will have a complete team. For Arroyo it will most likely be dealing Harrington, so this means our lineup can look like this. Arroyo - PG Chills - SG Smoove - SF Marvin - PF Theo - C That is a playoff team anyday of the week. Thoughts anyone?
  21. Man you some of you guys are blowing Salim up too much. You have to realize that as good as a shooter as Salim is, he was still a second round pick and not a lottery pick, so even if he comes in next year and averages 6ppg, then it is safe to say that Salim had a good rookie season. Lets not put too much pressure on him yet. He is just a second round pick.
  22. Quote: Marvin could have been a top ten pick last year. He went to school for a year, and projected into the top ten again. That's a good sign. And that is a very good sign, when a player could of been drafted at a younger age at a top 10 pick and decided to go to school and still gets drafted top 10, nevertheless 2nd player taken in the draft. Very good possibility, Shock. Anything can happen and Al has room in that team to become a starter and Diaw can become a good bench player for them.
  23. What I think it means is that BK and Woody and the rest of the HFO feel that Marvin will be a star in this league and Al won't. I think he is the best player in this draft, how can you pass on that. I also feel that Al might be involved in a package deal with Diaw for a very good PG in this league and filler. You guys bring up some names of PG's that might be available.
