  1. All I need in my life is the Nets to trade or decide not to re-sign him. That'd be so cringe for him.
  2. Pretty sure you've gone at my head a few times and ... .. it was me going at your head. Yeah, that sounds more accurate. Whew, that was a close one.
  3. I'm more than a little bit crazy so I'm fully expecting a thrilling game 7 victory. Me and @Diesel got something goin ...
  4. Well, it's still different than the JoeLLLL stuff. Dude looked healthy but out of shape, they just got beat. Trae looks hurt, and they're losing. And, for the sake of accuracy before you go off the top rope, I'm not saying Trae being hurt is why they're losing. I'm just pointing out that this ain't quite that (what 6er fans did). For the record, I think they're losing because MIA has taken Trae away and no one else has stepped up. Come at me, @Peoriabird.
  5. It would help but, and much to my guy @Peoriabird chagrin, it's not all on him. Literally every other team member is coming up short in some way as well.
  6. I think you're both right. Effort is the first step, then he has to know where to go, when, etc. Timing matters, just can't be a headless chicken out there. That's where the skill, repetitions come in. I'm deeply offended by this remark.
  7. Well, iiuc, the cop knew she was there to do just that. Basically waited for Judy to jump. So I guess, instead of 'anticipate', you can say you wish Heurter would watch film and apply what he's seen. I can't lie, the plan the two ladies had would've been epic had they pulled it off. She was gonna whistle, stop the game, and call a T on the MIN owner. Be honest, that would've been pretty funny. Man these folks are all up in arms about Taylor killin' them chickens. Wait'll they realize how literally all lobsters and crabs are cooked.
  8. Didn't the former coach, who everyone said was the only one to blame for our struggles, want Trae to develop an off-ball game? (I honestly don't know if he did, just messin' with folks.)
  9. We had CamPippen on the roster when he was a rookie. Too bad he preferred being CamRickyDavis instead. C'mon, that's gotta earn me some supes hate right?
  10. Hmmm.. if ya think about it, after they won, he was ... But whenever they lost he was ... ... and needed no surgery last offseason ....
  11. Because people have the ability to talk about things and they don't necessarily only talk about things in order of importance.
  12. If you're CHI and you see how this season played out, do you run it back .. just more expensive .. by re-signing Lavine?
  13. I don't think anybody came away thinking the 'story line' of that game was Hunter. You have a chip on your shoulder about him. I'm trying to help you see that. It's because I care, peo.
  14. It makes sense. You're just on a one-man crusade to avenge Hunter's good name, apparently, so you go off whenever you see someone say anything about him.
  15. Just because someone brings up Hunter's name doesn't mean they consider him high on the list of issues with this team. @shakes, this thread saddens me but I can't turn away in disbelief. It's like that time I saw a bird of prey stalking a rabbit in my parents' front yard. It didn't end well for bugs. Although it was strange to see it unfold (I mean, what is this Natural Geographic or something?), I felt it all made sense in the cold, unruly grand scheme of things. That's what this OP was to me.
  16. Me watchin' Jose Baller-ado give Chris Paul the absolute business all series long .. Can we give him a max deal to get him away from NOP? Just lie to me. Say, 'yes'.
  17. These are always hilarious. The lean in is real, baybee. Any gamer knows. ... at the Target Center? burd .... I must admit, I was a staunch Simmons advocate. But there's something wrong with that dude ..... still ...
  18. I'll ask that you read what I wrote without assuming what you think I'm trying to say. I at no point said Hunter is a scapegoat for anything. Hence me saying he could be 'our version of Kawhi'. I disagree that he doesn't do anything we need on offense. What we need is served up for him on a platter but he can't take advantage. Hey, does this disagreement rate highly enough to get a call-out on your next thread?
  19. And the funnier thing is folks claiming them being bad is Trae's fault. I witnessed Hunter having favorable matchup after favorable matchup and butt nekked open shot after butt nekked shot and being unable to do anything with it. Him dribbling off his own foot multiple times and just falling into bail out fouls (that we won't get in Miami) and I'm thinking, "So that's Trae's fault?" To be clear, I like Hunter and I think he can be good for us. But watching the varying arc and release on his shot and his poor handle make me question what TF he's been working on game-wise. Sure up those two areas and he's our version of Kawhi. Are we saying him having to rehab is the reason for these seemingly lagging areas of development? I can see that but, if that's the case, I can't see folks saying it's 'because Trae's heliocentric'. It's one or the other, not both.
  20. I don't think that's nearly as big an issue as folks keep saying. It's a problem but I think it's something that can be worked around, especially considering he's been more active/engaged as of late. Ohhhhh, not the neph?! Next time you see him just smack him much harder than necessary on the back and go, "Ah you lil' scamp."
