@NBASupes what do you think about the notion that, despite being an elite defender, Gobert isn't good on the perimeter defending? Some folks say, due to that, he's a liability in the playoffs and late in games. Personally, I see him as basically a better version of Capela but they have similar weaknesses. Not the 'same' weaknesses, just similar (re-stating that for effect). So, all in all, he's an upgrade for sure. The question becomes the money. Is he that much of an upgrade once his contract is factored in? Second question, does he make us a contender? I'd say he puts us closer but it still hinges on what we do on the wing(s).

I'm starting to think Lebron may not age very well. Mentally, I mean. He's been given so much for so long he won't be able to adjust to being told 'nah, I'm guud'. Guy's a great player but he also stacked the deck for himself in more ways than he probably needed to. Now that he can't do that anymore, he may break mentally and start beggin' like Keith Sweat to get onto a good team.

Well I hate to whizz in your cuban coffee, heat-fan, but Trae fares fairly well against that juggernaut(sic). And why is it that folks only talk about the good with the heet? I ain't here nuthin' about heet-culcha last year while they got their doors blow'd off by the Bucks. After 2 games the heet was lookin' for a soft place to lay down. Pretty sure I heard Jimi Buttler whispering, "Please Giannis don't hurt 'em." Perhaps they weren't running the "dominant" plug-in system that series? Oh are we not supposed to talk about it? Sorry, let's focus on the bubble and ignore all the other non-Lebron years. And I apologize for starting the post off with a lie. I don't hate to whizz in your cuban coffee.
