That's fair(ish). But what happens when you're 'sick', but the team says you're not. When it comes to a physical injury, it's more clear. What if you share psych info and they just disagree? How could someone say you're 'not' depressed? So, if they don't believe him, what's the point of sharing notes from his sessions with whoever he's talking to? -
These are more fair questions that folks will want to admit. The covid stretch is beyond impactful in a way that never 'corrected itself' as other fanbases claimed it would. The "new" foul rules? I'd say that one backfired spectacularly for the league. Sure it effected us but it absolutely torpedoed a great many players and other teams. Look at how many guys struggled because of it. Most never recovered. Harden (to a large degree, plus his normal age-related decline), Lillard (got hurt but looked like he was tapping out before that due to lack of effectiveness). Then you have a plethora of guys who are truly propped up by calls. Randle (NYK) - greatly aided by soft whistles, Fox - basically everything they said would impact Trae actually impacted guys like him. So, long story long, I think the foul rules impacted everyone but our guy had a plan B where others didn't.

Teams that need to blow it up: UTA - Mitchell trade request has gotta be incoming WAS - don't you dare max Beal. Why? POR - stop halfsteppin' and trade Lillard SAC - ah, nevermind. Whats the point?
-
Yep. And they actually have a coach that earned his rep.

He's having to work way too hard to score. Thats the issue. The point Mitchell was making was that, if they actually coach, he can be just as effective while expending far less energy. Which would help all of them.

Wrong. Simmons first hurt his back several seasons ago, thus it was a known issue. That he had a flare up shouldnt surprise anyone. They'll get his medical records the grievance process. Should they have gotten then earlier? It's debatable. That organization wasn't exactly acting like a trusted partner either in that regard. And, if you believe this happened after the trade, understand that you don't go from having "no issue" pre-trade to getting an epidural unless Simmons is pregnant or something. -

I agree, for the most part. But the funny thing is, I dont think anyone in the east stands a chance vs MIL except us. -

You can ride him without riding him into the ground. They have personnel to run nba-level plays. All they were doing was giving kd the ball and standing.

Sam Mitchell really, inadvertently, ripped Nash apart in his analysis. Basically said the way they're using Durant is asinine and unnecessarily wears him down. Why is he starting his 'move' out by half court, for example? Basically said they need to watch old GSW tape to see how to use him.

So, if I understand Ja Morant's mvp chase correctly, what you're saying is that Collins may finish top 5 mvp?

Has a legit back injury. Find me a team that docks pay of injured players. Once you're done and realize no teams do it, understand thats what PHI did to Simmons. He won't get back the initial fine money but he'll get his salary back from the period following that 2-day return to Sixers practice (at which point he was shut down with the back stuff). -
Australia may go to war to avenge the savagery that is what Trae did to Patti's knees on that shot. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how much better a defender Patti is then Trae.

They live in an alternate universe. We just toy with them at this point. Nothing they say should be taken with any level of seriousness.
