You ain't wrong, so the thing I complain about isn't necessarily us not getting respect. The thing that bothers me is other equally unproven guys/teams that do get respect absent accomplishment. You got folks out here touting the Cavs and Hornets as sleepers to make a run (whatever that means). But, when it comes to the Hawks, it's eh Trae don't play no defense so .... how's about the Nets? You got folks out here touting the SGA's and Ball's of the world but when it comes to Trae, they set the high bar. That's the part that still bothers me.

There's a reason UTA keeps floundering despite having a good mix around those two. I'm sure some of it is because they hate each other's guts (allegedly), but it's not a done-deal title like supes is suggesting.

I do think a conversation specific to the UTA situation is ok as a breakout session. Don't let @marco102 discourage you, he's a meany. I think Gobert is the more likely 'get'. Can't imagine Mitchell wants to come here to be 2nd fiddle. And, make no mistake, he'd be 2nd fiddle to Trae.

Hey, you could be right. I'd ask if you think the rumors of him wanting out of UTA, for non-basketball reasons, are all false? I do agree, if Gobert were traded, he'd probably be ok with that. But the typical 'wants to be in a bigger market' rumors have nothing to do with Gobert.

Hey, sounds like you and I may have an avatar trade brewing on that one. Will they trade Gobert or Mitchell. I agree with your reasoning for them keeping Mitchell, but I think he'll force their hands.

Trae2Nique has a better flow to it, jmho, even though it doesn't work chronologically. I think we should take a vote to see if @Spud2nique has to change his name.

The guy Scalabrine, Danny strAinge mouthpiece, just floated a Mitchell-to-NYK trade idea with Randle+Barrett+ going to UTA. I'd say that's plausible because I don't see UTA trading Gobert.

I can't even get a mild chuckle with the Reddish shot? Straight to business, huh? But yeah, I can see them getting moved once Lebron gives his blessing. The problem I see is I can imagine they think they can attach Westbrook to him in a deal, which (imho) would be a gross miscalculation. But, then again, that's the way I can describe just about everything LAL's front office has done the past few years. Gross miscalculations.

First, we gotta start off with some #SupesShots ... We all know this whole thread is about this one line ... Oh come on. Laugh with us, supes. On a serious note, I could see LAL trading AD. It's been pretty interesting listening to the Klutch-related media people talk about the Laker situation on NBARadio. They all seem to be speaking about how AD never took to training like Lebron does. How the expectation was that he'd go there to be sorta groomed to be the #1 to carry the aging Lebron but he just seems content with the bubble title. Isn't taking care of his body. Not putting in the work. Usually the only Klutch guy they don't protect is Trae. Davis may have 'lazied' his way out of LA.

I'd love to hear the response to this part. And it wasn't "just" the CLE series where Al got dominated by certain guys.

JoeLLLL is good. Really good. But he ain't Shaq and it seems like the league is trying to treat him like he is. This idea that 'they foul me because they can't guard me' stuff is silly. He's not getting fouled to avoid getting carried into the rim like Shaq used to do guys. He's getting fouled on artificial rip-throughs and other ticky-tack stuff to get into the penalty. Then is starting the parade to the line. Sure, there are times when guys just take a foul if he's got low position. But he spends an out-sized amount of time out on the perimeter because he's lazy and out of shape constantly.
