Hit a big shot tonight that didn't matter but he'll probably shoot some that matter as a CAV. Do you think Bud and co. Made a post-retirement deal with him to join the coaching staff or front office or marketing department or anything?? I have bad dreams about him being the face of someone else's franchise. Still don't get the trade. We aren't the same team without him.

It's a pretty major error actually. There should be punctuation between a song title and the adjective that you choose to describe the impact that the song has on the point you're making.

Players shouldn't be any more immune than anyone else when they post something to social media. I criticized his grammar, because the lack of punctuation between ABCs and crucial makes him look kind of dumb.

Okay, man, fair enough but I'm not in the position he is in. When I get pulled over, I get scared enough. I can't imagine being a young black guy. Considering everything else going on in this country, this seems like a silly thing to pick apart.

Other than the poor punctuation and general immaturity , don't see what's wrong with this. He's a young black guy, who is used to driving around in fear of being profiled, making a dumb joke about it.

I don't think the situations are that similar. Milsap isn't getting the max here in the ATL, though I'd give 10 percent of all my pay checks to keep him here without hesitation. It's clear the Hawks are ready to get younger and move on, after this playoff run if not sooner. The future of the franchise hinged on Al's decision.

So, we should trade him to help another team beat us for the rest of the season, and maybe in the playoffs to get what? A second round pick? Two of them? A younger, inferior version of Tim Hardaway Jr.?

Who cares, I'm tired of helping other teams. If we get blown away with a trade offer, sure trade him, otherwise what's the point? Why should we trade away Milsap to a team that's barely, if any at all, better than us for a couple of fringe guys? What Horford or Teague trade did we turn down that we should have given up our whole season on last year? Did I miss all those blown opportunities?

First impressions: Mike made a big mistake but he seems like a stand-up guy looking out for his little brother above all else. As a live and let live guy, regarding drugs, I hope he gets out of this okay- nevermind his Hawks/NBA future.

Love this thread. Every team has its ups and downs over the course of the season and this team is no exception. "The Miserables" will surely be out in full anonymous force after every loss and close win, but hopefully every long-suffering Hawks/Atlanta sports fan, including them when they log off, can appreciate what we have with this team. Also, The National rules.

I missed the end too but I doubt he had anything specific. I just got the impression It'll be someone cheap who'll be battling Delaney for the backup spot.

I could be wrong but don't think he said that. He worded it confusingly by saying that the 3rd year is the option year, when he corrected Zinno who seemed to be the one who thought Sap had 2 years before opting out.

Guy suggests trading Scroeder + Milsap + draft picks or more. Don't know that we'd really be that much better. I'd love to have a star like Westbrook though. Might be worth it just to get the city excited. -
