DeacKillsaDevil
He would come in and be the best rebounder on the team and I bet we could get him without giving up much. However, I don't know how his defense is.
Spiral
Unless we trim a forward or 2 off of our roster, I don't see a reason to add Evans. It would be very difficult for him to get minutes with the amount of forwards we have.
DeacKillsaDevil
He'd be the best PF we have and that's sad.
shock
he would be better than smoove?
Plastic Man
i'd rather play smoove any day. evans has zero offensive game. he is an above average rebounder but not very athletic or agile. he has 5 blocks this season (34 games). he's not a full-time starter. DeacKillsaDevil
Josh Smith can't guard one on one to save his life.
Popeye
Quote: Josh Smith can't guard one on one to save his life. I agree, he is little too slow(not quick) for a SF and his handles are pretty bad but improving. He added like 15lbs this summer to play the PF position and i tought that he will improve on his inside scoring and not shoot a lot from outside but right now he can't even lay it up. He really needs to be working on his layups. Tony Parker said he practices layups all the time you just can't dunk the ball every time. He is strong enough to guard SF but just not quick enough. In Childress case it's the opposite, he needs to get stronger.
Southern_Bred
In practice the coach should have drills where he has to shoot the ball or lay it up and get punished for dunking.
