kudzu23
Great game against the Giants in Giant Stadium. Vick still hurting on that right shoulder (non throwing shoulder) from last weeks game. Doug Johnson did an impressive job all game long. Very impressed with his performance. We seem to be running lots more plays for Duckett.. Nice to see that for sure..
hds428
Definitely nice to get a win, on the road or otherwise, for the birds. Maybe this will stifel all the Fire Reeves rhetoric......nah. Nice to see TJ more involved and especially in the 2nd half, I like him so much better than Warrick Dunn. Way to go Falcons. Gray Mule
Dunn did it, not as a running back, but as a reciever. I like him much better there, catching the ball in the open field, then running with it. Duckett strong inside. Runs like a tank, a very fast tank. Falcons didn't break him loose any but he earned some tough yards. Offensive line not great, but did a pretty good job again. An improvement from last season. Without our running Q.B., our Q.B. ran any way and scored for the Falcons! Bet the Giants didn't know we could come up with something like that with Vick out. Traceman
Dunn is NOT a feature back. I WANTED him to be but he's just not. He looked like his old self when we finally utilized him like Tampa Bay did (getting him and space and creating mismatches on linebackers). Where in the world has that been? Duckett didn't get a lot of yards but the Giants were definitely concerned with him and that forced them to bring a safety up which gave Jefferson single coverage for most of the day. TJ had some nice inside runs when we needed to run out the clock and that was huge. Doug did a fantastic job! I couldn't have asked for anything more from him. I loved his Vick imitation on the rushing TD. Great stuff! He still scares the hell out of me by holding on to the ball too long in the pocket but you have to admire his courage to stand in there strong. Good win! I hope the Falcons keep the play book open and run the same kinds of things when Vick comes back. Get Dunn in space, Run Duckett between the tackles and challenge the other team's DB's by throwing deep on occasion. Good win!
Guest
Duckett is like Eddie George WAS.. You have to get him carries over the course of the whole game to be effective. You can't just not play him for 3 periods and expect him to come in and get yards. Dan is still not using him correctly.Backs like TJ need to be run over the course of the game so he can wear down defenses. We all knew Dunn was not a feature back.He doesn't have the build that Tiki Barber has. However it was a good win for the team.I didn't think Doug Johnson would play that well either but he had a helleva game.

TomahawkChop
I heard the Falcons sold out against freakin' Carolina! That's amazing, the Panthers aren't exactly a team fans are dying to watch, and I figured the attendence would drop after the Falcons first 3 losses.
