TAdams_1
We need to get Jared Jack into ATL before the trade deadline to have a potential starting PG. I like Lue but it doesn't seem to me that he is our future. Ivey ??? nuff said. ATL needs to do what they can to get JJ #2 here to play the rest of the season. Who is with me and what would they demand to trade a future star?
exodus
Who would the Hawks give up to get him? Portland has a glut of wings already. They will be looking for bigs and the only realistic deal would be Zaza. However trading Zaza during the season would leave an even bigger hole in the middle. I would like to see Jack here but I don't see the Hawks trading for him during the season.
Admin chillzatl Posted February 17, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted February 17, 2006 trading zaza any time in the next two years would be bad. Trading him for a guy that may or may not be a starting caliber PG in the NBA would be downright stupid.
exodus
It would depend on who the Hawks get in the draft and free agency. They would need to have at least 2 more bigs to consider trading Zaza.
TAdams_1
How about trading next years protected first round pick. Is that too much? We get half a year of a young player developing now. This will help on start up next year.
exodus
That pick belongs to the Suns. The only way we get it is if we get one of the top 3 picks. I hope you are not thinking of trading a top 3 pick for Jack.
