exodus
WTF are you talking about? You brought up the JJ comparison, and it is ridiculous, as i said at the time. You were acting like JohnnyBravo does with Salim. Al had a good shooting game and you got all excited. That fact is that Al has been shooting like crap for weeks. The reason the JJ and Al comparison doesn't work is that JJ is more than just a scorer. He plays D and is a playmaker. Al doesn't play D and isn't a playmaker. And his offense is incosistent. For every hot game he has at least two bad ones. Al doesn't contribute in any way other than the scoring column. You act like he is an equal scorer to JJ which is not the case. And this nonsense about the Hawks needing someone to create their own shot has nothing to do with Al. They needed a pg before Lue went down and now they are really in need of one. Lue has had plenty of 15 pt games when the Hawks needed them. With him out it makes it easier for teams to pressure JJ. As usual you have your facts completely backward. You were trying to make an argument that the Hawks need Al's scoring which they don't. As examples; Chicago 15 pt run in 8 minutes with Al on the bench Charlotte 10 pts better with Al on the bench Washington 25-12 run with al on the bench Detroit +8 with Al on the bench. Atl won with Al going 6-18 Seatle 10 pt second half run with Al on the bench Lakers +19 with Al on the bench. Seatle 10 pt second half run with Al on the bench Lakers +19 with Al on the bench. Anyone see a pattern here? Do they really need Al's scoring or is it a figment of Diesels imagination? I think we all know the answer to that. The only thing consistent about Al is his lack of defense. his offense is nice when it shows up but it doesn't show up consistently and doesn't make up for his weakness in other areas. Seano
Ahahaha. I love reading the arguments between Diesel and Luefan, errr Exodus. Funny stuff, and you can bet money that at least once during the argument Diesel will say "Damn, did you watch the game??" or something along very similar lines. That is as predictable as the sun rising in the east every morning.
