Hawks Put Baby Bulls to Bed

It has been a while since the Hawks have been over .500, but they took advantage of their second home game to beat the Bulls 98-92 Saturday night to move to a heady 2-1 record.

The year was 1999, and the JR Rider led Hawks were 9-9.

Who knew it would be a mere three years later before the Hawks would surpass such a winning percentage again?

It is about time we got over the hump, and had a winning record. I don't think this will be our ony goal this year.

Jalen Rose has become a great NBA Player. The Fab 5 at Michigan, Rose was near the bottom of them. He is someone to fear. He has a real versatile game, and is a mismatch for most NBA Players.
