Big Dog.....Big PG????

I've been noticing the play of GRob early on (appearantly so has a lot of people) even though I've been in south GA where a Hawks game is neigh impossible to find on tv, except for the highlights on ESPN (which are usually focused on the OTHER team LOL). What's really surprised me is Robinson's assists night after night, in fact last night against CHI was the first game where he had fewer than 5 assists. Add to that a couple of things that Pete said, both earlier and recently; first that he wanted, during the well publicized big PG hunt, that he wanted a big man who could help handle and distribute, aide JT in setting people up and making plays. Second, after the GRob trade, that he had been working to get him here for a long time. It's still early yet, but Robinson seems to be filling the role of the point forward, helping to set others up and still getting plenty for himself.

BIG DOg is not a PG...Throws some bad passes

and has some of the worst handles in the league.

Let him stick to get assist in the flow of the game

and shooting that jumper.

Big Dog handles the ball fine, or at least he did last night.

It is clear though that teams are fearing Jason Terry with the ball in his hands, and they have been doing everything possible to keep him from getting the ball on the in bounds. That was the goal of Chicago's full court pressure last night, because JT kept beating them down the court.

There were a few times where the Hawks in bounded the ball to Glenn, but he would immediately look to get the ball into the hands of Jason Terry.

It's pretty clear that while the media hasn't caught on, opposing coaches know that Jason Terry is a pretty [censored] good point guard that brings more to the table than just half court offense.

Big Dog travels on a consisant basis.

Your right about JT.When the GM's predicted

us as a huge matchup problem and 47.8% most

improved team they knew something that the

other fans and media didn't know....

Jt seems to be growing more comfortable in the

role and now realizes that even getting assist

he can still get his shot up.He can do both.
