What has happened to Dajuan Wagner?

He dropped 100 points in a high school game, played a year at Memphis, gets chosen #6 in the draft by Cleveland, plays for 3 years and is injured most of the last 2 and then dropped of the face of the earth this year...

Is he still playing? It would be interesting to see if he is over his injuries as he would be a cheap pick up for the Hawks at Guard with a ton of potential.

he saw limited minutes a year ago after returning from injury. the cavs released him proir to this season and he is a free agent. last i heard he was workin out tryin to get in shape and make a roster. he can flat out score but not much else. he should be able to make an nba roster next season.

Last I heard of Mr. 100, ESPN the Mag had a little blurb about him having colon surgery. To have it sealed up. I'm not making this up, either.

He had to have surgery to have his colon removed - the same type of thing Larry Brown had done. Brown got in touch with Wagner to help him through it. No word yet on how Wagners rehab has been or if he will be able to play again.

I do remember reading that now ~ can't remember which issue it was in or what the etiology that nesessitated it being removed. I'm thinking (off the cuff) that it wasn't for the same reasons that LB had his removed...and are we sure that that's what LB had performed on him? a partial hemicolectomy?
