Nicholasp27
Once we win tonite, my prediction of 27 will come true and we'll have more than doubled last year's total and ended on a 3-game winning streak We also can all agree that we had more than our fair share of ref-handed losses, especially early on in the season, so we really played like a low-30s team it's very realistic to say we can hit low-40s next season with the right offseason moves and be looking at contending for a low playoff seed

Gray Mule
Touching tribute last night to Jason Collier as Josh Childress reciever the first annual award named for J.C. The widow and family were there. After the game, coach Mike Woodson spoke about the loss of Collier and how it left questions that the young Hawks had, questions that he didn't have the answers for. Recovery from this was a long, slow process and is something that will forever stay with them. Partially because of this, we saw the terrible record as the season began and the Hawks never recovered from this early loosing streak. Being so young and not having played together as a team, the Hawks didn't get some of the calls that an older team would have. Then too, veteran players learn what they can get by with and what they can't. Our players had to learn this. On top of all of this, we saw last second shots fall for our opponents that meant defeat. Late in the year, we had some of these go our way. Remember the "Breakout" pass from Zaza to Chill that meant victory and the late, three pointer from Tyronn Lue last night that assured the win!! The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. Hawks, over the season, changed from a group of talented, very young players into a team. Sure, there are some pieces of the puzzle yet to be added. Sure, we're still growing, still learning. But, we're gaining on it. After this off season, we expect, not to crawl but to be able to run with the big boys. GO HAWKS !!!!!!
exodus
If they win they fall move a tie with Toronto so they could wind up shooting themselves in the foot with a win tonight.
thesheedera
Isn't Cleveland playing for a higher seed tonight?
exodus
They are the 4th seed and they can't get any higher since the division winners get the top 3 seeds. They are tied with NJ so conceivably they could be playing for home court advantage if they get matched up against NJ in the playoffs.
