I know I have a much clout on this board as Diesel:) I figured everyone would be interested in my plan for the Hawks.

1. Trade #5/Chill/Al to Indy for JO/Shekevicous sp?

2. Try to use 2nd round pick/Lue/Salim trade up and select

Rajon Rondo sp? If not..draft Dee Brown.

3. Sign Nene to FA contract.

Line up:

NeNe/JO/ZAZA

JO/SMOOVE/ZAZA

Marvin/Smoove

Rondo/Schekevicous

JJ/Lue or Salim (whoever you don't trade)

I doubt Indy would trade "Yessircabbages" (His name starts with a Jas...but my way is more fun" I think Indy would be more proned to give up Tinsley at this time.

I don't like the idea of trading Chillz, but to get JO.. OK... But do we have to trade both Chillz and No. 5? That's a lot.

Maybe just Al/rights to #5 to Indy for J.O.

It's the rights to #5 because Al cannot be traded until July.

I think that the fan base would be happy with a star like JO... And it would get the Hawksheads here ready for a year without a draft pick. KB would have to call off his annual draft Lottery and draft party.

I like Rondo. I don't know who would want our extras for their first.

Maybe we can work a deal with the nets for #22. Maybe Este for #22... then we can get rondo there and with #33 we can get a BU PF...

I didn't think Indy was that high on Jasekevicous. Although it's not like I get all that much news over here in Germany.

What do you think of that front court depth though? NeNe/JO/ZaZa/Smoove/Marvin

JJ and Rondo would be a good defensive tandem also.

I think the team would be hard to score on. That of course is pending a physical for Nene...

Agree with Lascar. The trade will not work. Al's contract is up. No player can negotiate a new contract until after July 1st. The draft is June 28th. He is untradeable until after the draft.
