DrReality
Draft et has their top ten lists. I copied PF and Centers. Please note that they list Shelden #3 PF, and numbers 1 and 2 will be gone when it gets to us. They give Eric Williams some pretty good ink and I wonder if he'll be drafted, given that there is nothing sexy about him. We could invite him to camp. Prospect Comments 1. Tyrus Thomas 6-8 217 PF LSU Fr. Freakish athlete. Dominating NCAA tournament makes him potential top 2 pick. 2. Andrea Bargnani 6-11 240 PF Italy 1985 Great intangibles. First step is unheard of for 7'. Could go first. 3. Shelden Williams 6-9 250 PF/C Duke Sr. Viewed as a "safe pick". Bruiser inside with rebounding and defense. 4. Cedric Simmons 6-10 233 PF/C NC St. So. Scouts are intrigued with his potential. Plays bigger. 5. Josh Boone 6-10 237 PF UConn Jr. Inconsistent season, but likely gets into the first round. 6. Joel Freeland 6-11 225 PF England 1987 Virtual unknown impressed at Treviso camp. Shows great raw potential. 7. Kevin Pittsnogle 6-10 255 PF WV Sr. Big with tremendous range and added mobility. Clutch shooter. 8. Craig Smith 6-7 259 SF/PF Boston Col. Sr. Combines power with excellent vision and intangibles. 9. Leon Powe 6-8 245 PF California So. Undersized and has injury concerns, but a warrior who plays bigger than his size. 10. Eric Hicks 6-6 245 PF Cincinnati Sr. Battles for every loose ball and rebound and shows good consistency from 20 feet. LaMarcus Aldridge 6-11 234 PF/C Texas So. Long and fluid athlete. Very smooth offensive game. Toughness? 2. Patrick O'Bryant 7-0 249 C Bradley So. Size, mobility and touch make him a top C prospect. Needs time. 3. Saer Sene 7-0 237 PF/C Sen. 1986 A major project, but Hoop Summit game raised some eyebrows about his potential. 4. Hilton Armstrong 6-11 235 C UConn Sr. Surprising season.
