Just a quick individual problem:

I've recently changed email addresses at home and finally got DSL. For some reason I can't start an account under this address - David1930@bellsouth.net - I tried a couple times but can't get the job done via an email verification message (hope I didn't mess anything up).

I've sent a test email from my work machine and received it at home so I know it works.

I really don't post that much from home but would like to have the ability to when I see something I'd like to respond too. Any advice on this other than to just keep trying?

There isnt any reason that the confirmation email wouldnt be getting sent to you. Check your SPAM or Junk folders if you have any, or spam settings on your bellsouth email account. Not sure what else to say.
