cyman3
u say hes not producing numbers equivalent to his salary (rite)? i also remember u mentioning the fact that hes a top 5 HIGHEST-PAID player in this game, rite? if so... i got this from hoopshype. 1. Kevin Garnett Minnesota $25,200,000 2. Shaquille O'Neal LA Lakers $23,571,428 3. Alonzo Mourning Miami $20,633,400 4. Juwan Howard Denver $20,152,222 5. Scottie Pippen Portland $19,727,524 6. Karl Malone Utah $19,250,000 7. Rasheed Wallace Portland $16,185,000 8. Dikembe Mutombo New Jersey $16,105,264 9. Allan Houston New York $14,343,750 -. Chris Webber Sacramento $14,343,750 11. Damon Stoudamire Portland $13,500,000 12. Gary Payton Seattle $13,079,593 13. Bryant Reeves Memphis (retired) $12,999,998 14. Antonio McDyess New York $12,600,000 15. Anfernee Hardaway Phoenix $12,375,000 -. Vin Baker Boston $12,375,000 -. Shareef Abdur-Rahim Atlanta $12,375,000 -. Ray Allen Milwaukee $12,375,000 -. Antoine Walker Boston $12,375,000 -. Allen Iverson Philadelphia $12,375,000 -. Kobe Bryant LA Lakers $12,375,000 22. Zydrunas Illgauskas Cleveland $12,224,086 -. Stephon Marbury Phoenix $12,224,086 24. Keith Van Horn Philadelphia $12,072,500 -. Grant Hill Orlando $12,072,500 -. Jalen Rose Chicago $12,072,500 -. Tracy McGrady Orlando $12,072,500 -. Tim Duncan San Antonio $12,072,500 29. Reggie Miller Indiana $12,046,473 so technically, hes one of the 15th highest paid players and he does play like that. sure, he hasnt played with fire in his eyes... but the best thing to do is HOPE he gets it back instead of trading him. so according to u, KG doesnt play as well as he is paid. Same goes with ONEAL... shoot, Mourning isint even playing. Juwan Howard? Scottie Pippen? they dont play like a 20 million athlete. Mutombo? Houston? Webber? If u think SAR isint playing as much as he is worth, look at the CELTICS... they have a dude named BAKER thats worth as much as him... and BAKER isint doing anything. btw, if u do trade Abdur-Rahim... dont expect a player better than ABDUR-RAHIM in return... TRUATLFAN
A few more all star moves. You know the ones that are undefendable like KG has. Like Shaq has. Like even Ray Allen or Rasheed W. All star players have those kind of moves and Reef just dont have them. He depends on calls and the refs for the stats he gets. That is the diffrence in him and his salarie. But you are right about other players out there that do worse and need to be given smaller contracts but that doesn't excuse him. I say trade him for more heart and hussel on the court, and maybe we can get someone that can hold the ball and pass out of double teams.
Guest
Garnett gets his team to the playoffs with nearly no help while Reef has Big Dog and JT and still struggles. Just because Pippen and so on isn;t playing to their worth doesn't mean Reef is.Get a life. "If u think SAR isint playing as much as he is worth, look at the CELTICS... they have a dude named BAKER thats worth as much as him... and BAKER isint doing anything." That doesn't automatically mean Reef is playing to his worth just because those guys aren't.Plus alot of those players aren't required to be their teams best player. Reef doesn't make the difference between winning and losing and his skills are outdated.Like the guy said below he doesn't have undefendable moves. His game is predictable. "btw, if u do trade Abdur-Rahim... dont expect a player better than ABDUR-RAHIM in return..." First,I didn;t say trade Reef.I said let his ass go in two years so that the team can be built correctly. The current team isn't winning and Reef isn;t a winner. So,when he and Big Hog contracts are up let them go or get rid of them for draft picks. Reef has been a disappointment and real fans know that he isn't as good as the fans on this website think he is.Alot of us including me were fooled into thinking JT was a better player than he really is.He's a Michael Adams at best.Alot of the things the people here thought about the players and team were wrong. They are fans that predicted a 50 win season.lol There are alot of gullible people here.
