DeacKillsaDevil
I started watching the game in the 4th quarter. Seems like it was a good time to tune in. Other than the awful offensive possession where Josh Smith threw up an air ball, what I saw of the O looked good.

Premium Member Wretch Posted November 8, 2006 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 8, 2006 He has the Hawks playing defense. Not too sure about his offensive gameplan and his reaction to what's going on (man how many times did we turn the ball over from the 2nd to 3rd period!?!?!"?)...but the Hawks are playing good D. He's got to get that O in sync and find a way to get these guys to feed off of Joe, but D is sound. That's really what's surprising me...even though that was SUPPOSED to be Woody's forte coming in. Not impressed with the offensive sets (I think Smoove should be cutting more, Lue should be spotting up with Joe posting, more 2-man with JJ and ZaZa)...BUT if they can keep this defense up, I will totally eat as much crow (on the fire Woody train) as anyone is willing to serve - because D is the one thing we have seriously lacked for quite some time.
