There have been quite a few threads on the Suns board about our pick. They were thinking 4 or 5 when the season began but now they're afraid that we'll make the playoffs. Funny.

There's also a big thread on JJ with both positive and negative talk...

If pacers pick is around 14ish, and Pau stays with memphis through the season...anybody think BK would package our pick with Zaza/Chill etc to get Pau?

Don't see it happening. Those two are critical pieces of our young stable and I think we have a super chance of developing some chemestry that is dynomite. Would not want to disrupt that.

I would disrupt "that" in a second! Pau and JJ in the same lineup! You've got to give up ZaZa, a player you can't resign in Chill (with JS), and a mid 1st pick. Gotta! I doubt Memphis does this deal with Rudy Gay at Childress' position but...we'd have to do that deal IMO.

There are soooo few pg's in this years draft even if some of the young guys come out. Landing one will be a prize. But from what I've seen of the mocks there are only 2-3 guys that are projected in the first round. Getting one of the top 2-3 would be a coup for us.

the past 2-3 years there have been some good mid-late 1st rounder pgs

(nelson/jack/mo williams/rondo/sergio/etc)

hopefully that'll happen this year and we can get a good prospect to be groomed for the future
