Premium Member mrhonline Posted December 28, 2006 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 28, 2006 http://www.ajc.com/blogs/content/shared-bl...wballing_m.html Quote: First things first, the supposed blowup between Hawks coach Mike Woodson and second-year forward Marvin Williams during Saturday’s loss to the Pistons never happened. I repeat, it NEVER happened. Wrong Williams, it was Shelden, and it wasn’t anything close to an actual blowup. An assignment was busted on the defensive end, Woodson sent someone else in to replace Shelden Williams, who pleaded his case for close to three seconds before Woodson told him to “just sit down.” That was it, plain for all to see. It happens plenty of times every night, on the Hawks bench and plenty others around the league. Glad to hear that.

DJlaysitup
yep...Marvin is nutless...didn't make sense. Shelden has played real basketball for a real coach - that makes sense.
gutz
Yeah the funny thing is Shelden was probably right when he was trying to plead his case to Woody. ahahahahahh
JJJ
Shelden gets sit down for blowing an assignment While Zaza gets to blow about 30 a game... The sad thing is that it doesnt even seem like Zaza TRIES on D yet he stays out there.
DrReality
I still say: Trade Salim. Don't think he is a good influence on our young team. Send him west for a big.

Send him west for a big. i'd love that. the only problem is: who would send us a big for an undersized guard who can't handle it well enough to be even a backup point guard and can't shoot it well enough to be a backup shooting guard and is too small to be anything but a defensive liability?
