What does each player on our roster bring to the Hawks?

THE POSITIVE STUFF

Surely, everyone has SOMETHING good they bring.

Joe Johnson - - Scoring: Demands a lot of attention.

Tyronn Lue - - Can score. Sometimes he's good.

---------------Brings some much needed leadership.

Zaza Pachulia - - Quick hands - He'll pick your pocket.

-------------- Draws a lot of fouls and hits his free throws

Josh Smith - - Shot blocker! Fills up the stat sheet.

Josh Childress - Best all round player on the roster.

----------------- Does many things well. Hustler.

Marvin Williams - Sophmore jinks? - Still not 100 %

-------------- healthy. He's just good, not great.

Salim Stoudamire - Can shoot! Can score inside, when

-------------- given the opportunity. Hits his F.T.'s

Speedy Claxton - - Another pickpocket. Plays with a lot

-------------- of energy.

Sheldon Williams - Plays every game. Rebounds. Great F.T.'s

--------------- Plays big inside. Still learning the NBA

Solomon Jones - - Atletic. Energy guy. Rebounds. Blocks

------------------shots. Great F.T.'s Still learning.

Lorenzen Wright - Gives the hard foul. Doesn't give a lot

---------------- of "and 1" chances. Leadership.

Royal Ivie - - Underused. Doesn't sleep while in the game.

-------------- Not great, but not terrible either.

Esteban Batista - Who knows? Can't get on the floor.

--------------- Usually plays HARD defense. Rebounds well.

Sure. There are a lot of neg. things we could say, but

there are some good qualities too.

Comparing Josh Childress stats last night with those of

Joe Johnson, Chill outdid him.

Chill - 6/8 with 5/5 F.T. - 2/2 ON 3'S

Joe J. -6/24 " no F.T. -- 1/5 on 3's

Chill - 7 reb.- - 3 assists - 2 steals - - 19 points

Joe J. -5 reb - - 2 " ----- 2 " ----- 13 points.

Chill was the only bright spot in the dismal showing

that was a so called game last night. Speedy did look

good, but was unable to go after the half.

I would think Joe Johnson is the best all around player on the team, not Childress. Joe didnt make the Olympic squad just by being a scorer. But it's nice to see a positive post!

Our team is WAY better than how we are playing, all you have to do is watch our first 20 games of the season. We've just lost all chemistry and confidence. That to me means Woody has completely lost the team..

There's a little good in the worst of us

So why should any of us

talk about the rest of us!!

Even our best player has his flaws

BUT

Our worst player has his good points!

Our coach AND his entire staff MUST:

Accentuate the positive - -

Somehow, someone MUST get these players to:

"BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BE!"

So far, it ain't happening. Why? Who is at fault?

Hawks aren't running like a well oiled machine.

Should we change the engine or the oil???

Right now, we are an embarrasment to Atlanta and to the

entire NBA - And especially to the fans of the Hawks -

The chosen few who still follow the team.
