Why is a popular question these days when attending Hawks games.

For example:

Why can’t the Hawks pull through and win a close game against average competition?

Why do the most average of players seem to erupt against the Hawks?

Why do three and four foot shots seem so darned impossible for the Hawks?

When will it turn around?

Those questions yield few easy answers except to say that the Hawks are experiencing the things that happen to bad teams, and the Hawks have been playing like a bad team over the last 30 games.

Tonight, it was the Knicks turn, they of the beating the night before at the hands of the Detroit Pistons. The same Knicks team that gets routinely beat by athletic frontcourts, like the frontcourt the Hawks boast. The same Knicks team that is under .500, with the same amount of wins as the Hawks.

Those Knicks beat these Hawks tonight, 95-92.
