Why doesn't Babcock just talk to JT?

So he says that JT is really the last person he'll trade. So if I'm him, I bring him into my office and I say "Look Jason, I like you, and I'm not trading you. In your opinion Jason, why do you think the team is not winning? Your opinion will not leave this room but I need to know."

Now Jason seems like a pretty standup guy so you figure he'd tell what he thinks. Or maybe he's too much of a nice guy to point fingers. But you'd think he'd be wanting to win enough where he would say his opinion. Or do you think he's too young to get his opinion. Maybe ask one of the older players who has been on a winning team. Wait, we don't have one of those.
