Why JO or Gasol, when KGarnett is by far better

I don´t understand why all the people are talkin possible trade for Gasol o Jermaine, when KG is available and by far better than JO o the spanish guy.

pick 3, Childress, Aj, Lo for KG ??

KG is 31 and has a lot of mileage, he's also the highest paid player in the league. Plus, he has a player option after next season and could opt out with us getting nothing in return. Gasol is still only 26 and still has a pretty long future.

That said, I wouldn't mind KG if we don't give up too much.

I think KG makes too much money for the salaries to work out in that trade.

1)KG is the least available because of their foolish owner

2)He's not young and would cost a fortune

1)KG has a player option after next year which he'll surely use, whether he comes here or not

2)Already 31, has only advanced to the conference finals once, and wants to win right now

3)Makes far too much. The Hawks would probably have to send JJ back and then some to make the salaries work. Without JJ, BK would have to almost empty the roster to match KG's salary and even Kevin McHale wouldn't go for that.
