I would love to believe that. This has been one of the most interesting NBA trades I can remember in recent history. I've heard from 3 different media sources the deal was done, and from others that the deal was dead or that the Phoenix front office never heard of it.

If this is an attempt by the NBA or teams involved to drum up hype for the draft, they're really dogging the Hawks fans, b/c anything other than this trade getting completed is a disappointment at this point.

I highly doubt it. All of our hopes for Amare are pretty much crushed.

At 10:00 ESPN says that Minn. is highly motivated to make something happen. Bucher: I have multiple sources that tell me this deal is still very much alive.
