ncthompson11
On hawks.com it has a list of the summer league roster and rookie/free agent invites. Is there a difference of the two? Do the invites just suit up for practice or something?

The summer league roster are guys fighting for training camp spots, and they have a decent chance on the team they're playing for or another NBA team. The invitees give the teams enough bodies to run a practice and are just hoping for some extra exposure, added experience and instruction from pro coaches, and direction on how to get themselves into a paying gig of some sort. But technically I have no idea what the difference is.
Hawk88
Question? How do you start a new thread? Thanks, Bob
Moderators AHF Posted July 9, 2007 Moderators Report Share Posted July 9, 2007 On the forum page listing the threads, there is a button labelled "new post." Click on that and you should be on your way. Good luck!
