A friend of mine gave me a call from the RMR at half-time, here's what he said:

Horford looks legit....his ballhandling has looked great, both in the halfcourt and in transition....looked great with a steal and a fullcourt dribble for the dunk....his feet look good in the post on offense, but he's a little one dimensional....he's playing hard on D, looks smart and active....people in the crowd are buzzing about him.

Acie Law hasn't done much, hasn't really seen the ball much after he gets rid of it....not playing bad or good, just not as involved as you'd think he'd be. Not particularly impressive so far but not a disaster.

Shelden looks as bad and ineffectual out here as he did last year.

Solomon looks extremely athletic but a little wild and out of control.
