Diesel Makes Atlanta a RUNNING Team!

I think our lack of excitement, lack of good play, comes from the fact that we are NOT an uptempo team. We haven't had the gaurd play or the personnell to be that since Nique left. Today, Diesel shares how to make Atlanta a Running team.

The two major obstacles to making this happen is Reef and GROB. There's a minor obstacle at the 2 also... BUt I have a way to fix all of our woes.

#1. Trade Nazr to LAC for Magette (SNT).

On our new Running team, Maggette will be the SF. He runs well. With all the contracts expiring in LAC and their need to keep Odom and Brand, I see Maggette being out. I also see Khandi out. Sterling would never spend a lot on a C and Nazr has a very cheap Contract considering his output.

#2. Resign JT.

As a PG or an off gaurd, JT has good speed.

#3. Grob/SAR to Cleveland for Ricky Davis/Big Z.

Believe it or not, we're through. WIth the expectation of Labron in Cleveland, having a good supporting cast of Jaunny, Grob, SAR would be Smart. They get rid of the injury prone Big Z and the arrogant Ricky Davis.

We would have JT/Davis/Maggette/Theo/Big Z as our starters.

A running team...

In the draft, pick up a PF like West out of Xavier. and viola.

Because without Glenn in the line up, this WAS a running team. They do much better in transition than they do in half court sets.
