tmac13
The Hawks have beat 2 very good teams at home and lost to 2 good teams on the road. I realize that is stating the obvious but winning at home is the first step any young team takes as they are turning the corner to respectability. We shouldn't get upset about the road loses simply because that is expected in the NBA. Winning against good competition at home is a sign of the progress of this young team. We need at least 25 to 28 home wins and hope to steal 13 to 15 on the road and we will be a playoff team.
Premium Member Diesel Posted November 8, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 8, 2007 I think the fact that we should have beaten Detroit means a lot. I also think you have to consider personnel too. I think Phoenix was made for us to beat on. No post presence, we can rebound and get second chances. SO was Dallas. Boston brings a super strong rebounder into the Phil. It will be a great test of where we really are!
buckeye242424
I agree. Boston is going to be a good measuring stick this early in the season. Especially since we beat two of the best at home...Boston is on the road.
