coachx
When is the coin flip for the Falcons 1st round pick ? 3 teams, the Raiders, Falcons, and Chiefs will flip coins in some way to determine who gets picks #3,4,& 5. If we want McFadden the #3 pick is huge (Raiders would be all over him). Both the Chiefs and the Falcons are desperate for a QB. Not sure if Matt Ryan is their guy or not but the coin flip will tell who has the first chance of getting him (Falcons or Chiefs). I would love to get the tackle out of Michigan, Long. He may be gone though.
ATLSmith
I don't know when the coin flip is, but, yea, I think that the Falcons should beef up their D.

Your probably refering to the other Long....Howie Long's son out of UV. He plays DE but we just drafted a 19 year old DE with the #7 pick last year. I'd hate to burn 2 top 10 pics on the same position 2 years in a row. Normally I'm a defensive guy but our offense was so bad last year I think we need to focus on the OL, QB, and RB in that order. mattlanta
The coin flip will be held on the NFL Combine day. Either day one or day two. The Combine begins on February 20. Here's to hoping Atlanta gets the third or fifth pick so we can trade down/draft Run DMC in the third or get Ellis in the fifth.
