If Gearon reads the mail, he will react. Regardless of how powerful you are, you still are influenced by peer pressure. IMO, Gearon wants to be known as the guy who saved the Hawks; therefore, criticism is going to effect him. I have lead and contributed to several very effective write in campaigns for various issues. My parents fought city hall and won over the extension of 400 into Little 5 Points (I grew up there). The lesson is, you, as an individual are somewhat powerful; however, if a group of individuals get together, they become a force of change.
