Hawks vs. Knicks

WE had a better record than the Knicks this past season, but will we next year ? If we want to make a true run at the playoffs the Knicks are a team we must be better than. Lets look posotion by position.

pg:

{Terry/Dickua/Davis} vs. {F. Williams/Ward/Eisely}

Terry dominates this matchup and Dickua could prove to be better than anyone the Knicks have at the point.

sg and sf, both team have wersatile swingmen capable of playing the 2 and the 3:

{Johnson/Newbel/Glover/Toni/} vs. {Houston, Sprewell, Anderson, }

The Knicks have more talent but are aging. we have more size and youth.

pf:

{Reef/ Hendu/Crawford} vs. {Mcdeyss, Weatherspoon}

Pretty equal, we both have an allstar and a solid backup.

C:

Theo, Nazr,Leon vs. Thomas, Harrington

We dominate this posotion vs the Knicks. James would really help them here since they have 2 falt footed 6' 9'' guys.

I think we can now beat them in an up tempo game much like they beat us in the 99 playoffs

The think NY has to worry about is Dice being healthy.If he

is healthy the Knicks likely better than us.but Dice is as big

or bigger question mark as Theo since Dice counts alot of

his atheletic abillty and I heard him say somewhere that

the Knee Injury has robbed him of some his leaping ability.

I like Dice and don't wish him harm,but maybe he is atleast

a notch lower than he was so that helps us out.

Houston has the advange going into training camp,but nobody

knows what Dermarr is going to be like next season.

Dermarr/Dion/Dickau/Theo are all wildcards.DJ/Dion are still

young but COULD improve.You neve know which Toni you

are going to get and Theo's healthy.

But honestly,I think every team in the east has equal or

more talent than Detroit has.So you never know I don't

guess.
